Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend! We're having great winter temps here ~ warm, sunny, blue skies ~ temp high in the 70's. I can't help but have spring fever! It's time for the monthly PTI blog hop. This months challenge is all about hearts!

I made a couple of cards featuring two different designed hearts from the PTI With All My Heart Stamp set along with pretty papers from the Pion Design My Precious Daughter collection:

The layered hearts were cut using various dies from the PTI Limitless Layers Hearts set:

I adhered the layered hearts on die cut tags that were made using a few different fun PTI tag dies:

Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend! I feel so fortunate and blessed to have been invited to create a few projects for the Tim Holtz's Idea-ology CHA booth featuring newly released products along with "older" products. The altered small burlap canvas features a variety of newly released products including: Correspondence papers, Big Chat stickers and Typed Tokens:

I also have a couple of projects to share featuring pretty Tim Holtz fabric.

Love is in the air over at A Vintage Journey challenge! This week's challenge theme is to create something that moves your heart. I made a fabric heart that can easily be hung in either my husband's office or my daughter's dresser. Haven't quite determined which at this point :)

I enjoy making Valentine's Day cards, so I made a card to coordinate with the little heart pillow combining Tim Holtz fabric and patterned papers from the French Industrial collection:

The heart was made using Tim Holtz fabric and cut with a Tim Holtz Sizzix die. The sentiment is one of the many fun Big Chat stickers:

Collect Moments of kindness...a shabby mini album 38

Hi there! I hope you are having a great week! Today I have a mini album to share featuring beautiful papers from the newly released Pion Design Paris Flea Market collection.

Along with the pretty Pion papers, I combined a variety of fabric doilies, lace trimmings, fabric and paper flowers to create this shabby mini album:

Each page features either an elegant image from the Tags sheet:

or the Images sheet:

I pulled out lots of lace and trimmings from my stash:

as well as a neglected Flourishes stamps set:

Each elegant lady was stitched to a die cut paper doily:

I embellished with a variety of fabric flowers, rhinestone/pearl stickers and paper flowers:

winter wonderland 35

Hi there! It's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week's challenge is all about Winter stamping. Will you stamp a snowy scene? Try a new use for a snowflake stamp? Perhaps be inspired by the colors of winter in your ink choices...

I was inspired to stamp a winter wonderland on a picture frame:

I love to alter home decor pieces and this challenge inspired me to do just that. The photo featured was taken while we were on a ski trip at Squaw Valley:

I collaged tissue wrap to the frame to create a base then from there, I applied stormy sky Distress Paint followed with randomly stamped / heat embossed Grunge Flakes:

For added interest and design, I used Texture Paste along with the Latticework stencil.

A die cut crackled Stacked Snowflake was added to complete the project:

The title was die cut using a couple of the beautiful script Holiday Words:
