Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by! Today I have a card to share featuring pretty patterned papers from the Pion design A Day in May collection along with Heartfelt Creations stamps and Spellbinders dies.                                                                                       

To create the flowers, I stamped the images, heat embossed then die cut. The sentiment is from MFT Tropical Sensations:

Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend and Happy Easter Sunday to all who celebrate! Today I have a card to share featuring beautiful patterned paper from the Pion design Vintage Garden collection along with a sweet image From Grandma's Attic:  

I die cut the sweet image using a Die-namics Oval die, stitched around the perimeter then layered it on a fancy die cut oval frame that was made using a Spellbinders die. A sentiment from Tropical Sensations was stamped using Hybrid Black Licorice ink. I embellished it with a die cut heart that was made using a Die-namics Heart STAX die along with a pretty flower from my stash:

Scott and I stayed up the other night to watch the lunar eclipse which took place from 11:00 pm - 3:00 am. Yes, we are a little crazy but in a good way ;) Here are Scott's awesome photos of the different phases ~ we were driving my dogs nuts running out the door about every 20 minutes to look :)

Hi there! Hope you are having a great week! It's time for an all new MFT Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge which is now hosted on the MFT blog! 

I've been playing around with a few stencils, ink, mists and stamps and this is what I came up with:

I created the background paper first using the Concentric Circles stencil, the Petal Pattern stencil, the text stamp from Collage Backgrounds and the polka dot stamp from Distressed Background Blocks:

I framed the smaller hibiscus from Tropical Sensations in a die cut InstaFrame then finished it off with a Blu Raspberry button, a kraft die cut heart and sentiment from Tropical Sensations.

Happy...MFT July Teasers Day 2 58

Hi there and Happy 4th of July! Welcome to Day 2 of the MFT July Teasers! The new products will be available on Tuesday, July 9th at 10 PM Eastern in the MFT Boutique. Be sure to hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers along with the amazing prize info!

In case you missed yesterday's post, (click HERE), I am really excited to introduce you to my latest stamp set, coordinating dies as well as 1 of 2 stencil designs that are included in this month's release!

First up is a layout featuring a photo of sweet Meredith that was taken several years ago while we were vacationing on Maui. 

I started with a blank sheet of self adhesive backed canvas. Using the Petal Pattern stencil and molding paste, I randomly added texture. Once dry, I sprayed using my own mixed mist using MFT MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist and Banana Split ink. Then I randomly dry brushed on gesso, stitched the canvas to a piece of 12 x 12 cardstock and adhered the photo of Meredith.

I made a cascading "flowerfall" from her hair using all the blossoms from Tropical Sensations along with several blossoms made using the Die-namics Hibiscus die. 

For the title, I stitched on the die cut word HAPPY that was made using a Die-namics LLD Accent It - Celebrate die.

Next up is a card featuring the same textured / misted background. 

I stamped the smaller of the two Hibiscus images from Tropical Sensations on the coordinating die cut from Die-namics Tropical Sensations using Sno Cone and Banana Split inks then added leaves that were stamped using Gumdrop Green ink.

Moments...MFT July Teasers Day 1 76

Today I'm super excited to introduce you to my latest stamp set, coordinating dies as well as 1 of 2 stencil designs that are included in this month's release!

I made a layout featuring a photo of Connor and Meredith that was taken nearly 10 years ago while we were vacationing on Maui.

To create this layout, I first had to stamp my own background paper using Tropical Sensations and the following MFT inks: Banana Split, Electric Red, Pink Lemonade, Gumdrop Green on Smooth White cardstock. 

The Electric Red flowers were just that, so I toned down the page with a think layer of gesso.

To add pretty design and texture to the piece of painted paper from my stash that was made using acrylic paints and the Gelli Arts printing plate, I used the Petal Pattern stencil and  
molding paste:

Once I had these papers made, I layered and stitched them on a sheet of paper that was made using the larger Gelli Arts printing plate and various acrylic paints:

Now my layout was ready to embellish with more pretty stamped and die cut Hibiscus blooms and a fun border from Jumbo Mod Borders:

For the title, I stamped a sentiment from Behind the Camera Sentiments on a die cut made using Die-namics Layered Label then layered it on top of a die cut reel that was made using the Die-namics LLD Accent It - Reel Life die.
