Hi there! Hope you are enjoying the weekend! I'm really excited to finally be able to share this mixed media mini album with you that I made 6 months. I am quite honored and proud of my little project because it was published in the fantastic June issue of Northridge Publishing's CREATE magazine!!! Yahoo! Thank you Northridge Publishing! Like I always say, getting published is like winning the paper crafting lottery for a crafty girl like me :) For some amazing inspiration, be sure to check out ALL the Northridge Publishing publications.
This mini album is full of a few of my favorite photos of Scott and is overflowing with MFT goodness!

Courage...MFT February Teasers Day 3 54

Mona Pendleton | Wednesday, January 30, 2013 @ 10:00 PM | , , , ,

Hi there! Back today with samples for Day 3 of the MFT February Teasers! Today I have a few projects featuring Clearly Sentimental Western Sentiments and Inspired by the Wild Wild West.

First up is a layout I made featuring a photo of sweet Meredith that was taking while she was at a riding lesson. Living here in the Southwest and having a horse loving girl in the house, I had lots of fun making this project as both Clearly Sentimental Western Sentiments and Inspired by the Wild Wild West stamp sets work so well with Meri's horse riding photos.
Here are a few details:  I stamped one of the many sentiments from Clearly Sentimental Western Sentiments on a die cut label made using Die-namics Framed Greetings
I embellished the layout with many home made die cut flowers including the new Die-namics Large Hybrid Heirloom Rose and a flourish made using Die-namics Large Leaf Filled Flourish.
I stamped the fancy cowboy boots image from Inspired by the Wild Wild West on a die cut tag that was made using Die-namics Tag You're It die, added one of the many sentiments from Inspired by the Wild Wild West then finished it with a die cut star made using Die-namics Stacking Stars and a Nightshift Blue button.
Not only are these stamp sets awesome for creating layouts but cards as well! I stamped the MUCH OBLIGED sentiment from Clearly Sentimental Western Sentiments on a die cut tag made using a Die-namics Traditional Tags STAX die.
I added a fun die cut layered embellishment made using the following Die-namics: Die-namics Stars STAX, Die-namics Mini Doily Circles and a heart from Die-namics LJD Rustic Hearts.
Shown below are the Die-namics included in the February release that I used to create my projects today:

Many thanks for stopping by today! See you tomorrow for Day 4!
Be Sweet ;)
