Hi there! Welcome to Day 2 of the May MFT Teasers! Thanks so much to all who took the time to leave such kind and sweet comments on yesterdays post ~ I feel so blessed :) Today I have some more samples to share featuring MPD Dandelion Wishes, MPD Distressed Background Basics stamps, Die-namics MPD Dandelion Stems and Toppers, Graduated Dots and Delicate Doily Stencils, LJD Peaceful Wildflowers. The new products will be available on Tuesday, May 7th at 10 PM in the MFT Boutique
First up is a layout featuring a photo of Connor, Meredith, Scott and myself that was taken at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park several years ago. First I created the background by randomly stamping and heat embossing one of the Dandelion blooms from MPD Dandelion Wishes then, I sprayed using my own premixed mist made using MFT Kraft ink and water as well as a variety of other mists. Drying between each color application so so the colors would have less of a chance of mixing and making a muddy mess!
Up close, you can see how nicely the beautiful dandelion blooms heat emboss:
I randomly stamped the checkerboard image from MPD Distressed Backgrounds Basics and randomly added stenciled dots using the Graduated Dots Stencil and gesso. Peeking out from behind the photo is chicken wire that was cut using Die-namics Chicken Wire die. LOVE!
I made a banner using a Die-namics Jumbo Banner Day STAX die which I misted, then randomly stamped the chicken wire image from MPD Distressed Background Basics.
Using the new Die-namics Heirloom Label die, I cut a piece of corrugated cardboard, applied some Gesso, then layered on a sentiment from MPD Dandelion Wishes. I topped it off with a few blooms that were made using the following Die-namics: Die-namics MPD Dandelion Stems and Toppers, Die-namics Layered Rose and Die-namics Rolled Flower.
Next, I have a trio of cards all made using Die-namics Blueprints 3, MPD Dandelion Wishes and MPD Distressed Background Basics. On May 7th at 10 PM EST in the, there will be a file available for download with the Die-namics Blueprints 3 product. This die set makes it so easy to make cards with ease!
To create this card, I stamped one of the seeding topper images from Dandelion Wishes on top of a light smear of white acrylic paint then adhered the die cut stem that was made using Die-namics MPD Dandelion Stems and Toppers and stamped using Factory Green ink.
I randomly stamped the polka dot image from Distressed Background Basics using Black Licorice ink on Pink Lemonade cardstock then I used the MFT Chicken Wire Stencil and gesso to add an additional layer of interest. The sentiment tag features a sentiment from LJD Peaceful Wildflowers.
The next card was made using Sno Cone cardstock along with the chicken wire image from Distressed Background Basics. I used the MFT Graduated Dots Stencil and gesso to add additional interest to the background.
Last but not least is my last card featuring the Dandelion blossom from Dandelion Wishes. I stamped the blossom using MFT Lemon Drop ink x 2 and Factory Green ink to stamp the stem. I finished the card off with a seam binding bow that I colored using MFT Kraft ink along with another sentiment from Peaceful Wildflowers. I love how versatile MFT stamps are making it so easy to mingle them together!
The background was stamped using the checkerboard image from Distressed Background Basics and the stenciled layer was created using another one of the stencils designed and illustrated by me: MFT Delicate Doily Stencil.
Shown below are the products designed by me included in the May release that I used on my projects today:
