Hi there! Here we are, midweek already which means it's time for an all new My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge! For additional inspiration from participating DT members, please be sure to visit the MFT Blog.

I made this card for my sweet sister Tina because I don't feel as though I tell her often enough how special she is to me ;) To create the sentiment doily piece, I stamped two sentiment stamps from DC Vintage Cameo Sentiments on a die cut doily made using a Die-namics Mini Doily Circles die. 

To create the dress form piece, I used the elegant die from Die-namics Sew Nifty Die set to cut a piece of grungeboard, applied white acrylic paint, distress ink then topped with a coat of glitter. The wings were cut using the wing die from Die-namics Homespun Birdhouse. I topped it off with a petite rolled rose that was made using Die-namics Mini Rolled Roses.

I completed the inside of the card using a sentiment from DC Textile Rectangle Sentiments that suits Tina and I so well. In so many different aspects we are polar opposites yet we have a common bond that makes us quite a dynamic duo :)

every MOMENT...MFTSCRAP6 46

Hi there! It's time for a new MFT scrap sketch challenge! Thanks to all who joined along  last month ~ so many terrific layouts! For complete details on how you can join along, please visit the MFT blog. 

Here's the fun sketch we are playing with:

For my sample, I scrapped a photo featuring Scott, Jerry and myself that was taken last Mother's Day :) I stamped a few sentiments fromMFT DC Behind the Camera Sentiments on die cut pieces made using a Die-namics Fishtail Flags die and a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die.

To create the die cut roses, I die cut two Whip Cream rolled roses using Die-namics Royal Rose and one layered rose using Die-namics Layered Rose. After all the rolling, layering and shaping was completed, using a sponge applicator, I applied MFT Pink Lemonade ink to the petal edges just to add a hint of color.

Wishing You a Happy Day...MFTGUEST0413 35

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all who celebrate! It's great to be home! Thanks so much for visiting throughout the MFT March Teasers! I really appreciate your support and encouragement! I have lots of photos to share from our trip, just need some time to sort through them but I do have a card and some photos to share of sweet April :)

It's time for the monthly April MFT Guest Designer Contest! Being St. Patrick's Day, I made this card for sweet April :) I combined the 4 leaf clover image from DC Girly Graphic Tee along with a sentiment from Pure Innocence Around the World - The Netherlands. To create the main background, I randomly stamped the 4 leaf clovers using MFT Sour Apple ink on MFT Sweet Tooth cs.   

I finished the card with a die cut felt 4 leaf clover that was made using the heart die from Die-namics Homespun Birdhouse along with MFT Sour Apple felt then stitched on a MFT Sno Cone button.

Since it's St. Patrick's Day, I wanted to share a few photos of sweet April that were taken at her last Irish dancing competition that Scott and I attended. Here she is all dressed up and ready to perform:

At the end, her class performed a line dance. The energy was AMAZING! The whole crowd was clapping as the dancers feet were tapping!

Best Ever...MFT March New Product Tour 66

Tonight, I have several cards to share featuring Birthday Sentiments. 

On the first card, I stamped one of the pretty sentiments from Birthday Sentiments on a tag that was made using Die-namics Tag, You're It Die.

I topped it off with a beautiful MFT Spearmint button as well as a trio of Pink Lemonade cs roses that were made using Die-namics Mini Rolled Roses and Spearmint cs leaves that were made using Die-namics Royal Leaves.

For the second card, I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Sentiments using MFT Kraft ink on a die cut postage stamp that was made using Die-namics Postage Stamp STAX. I made that big, beautiful Sno Cone felt bow using the new Die-namics Jumbo Beautiful Bow die. 

The fun little die cut party hat was made using Die-namics Party Hat Border. How cute is that???

Last but not least, is a rather simple card using a combination of stamps from Birthday Sentiments and a sweet banner that was made using Die-namics Party Banner. 

I completed the inside by stitching on another die cut banner along with a stamped sentiment from Birthday Sentiments which was stamped on a die cut Kraft pocket that was made using the Die-namics Gift Card Pocket - Horizontal die.
