Hi there! Hope you are all having a terrific weekend! It's time for an all new CR84FN Color Challenge! Thanks so much to all who took on CR84FN60 ~ so many pretty projects filled the gallery! For nearly the next two weeks, we will be playing with the pretty color combo shown below:

This is a rather CAS card. For the focal point, I stamped one of the 4 wonderful sentiments from the Die-namics Vertical Greetings Die & Stamp Set on a label that was cut using a Die-namics Textile Rectangle & Stamp Set.

I finished it off with a layered bloom made using Die-namics Perfect Petal Trio. Just one of the many Die-namics flowers.

YOU ARE so beautiful... 48

Hi there! I'm so happy it's Friday! Scott and I are taking Jerry and April for a long weekend trip to San Francisco this morning, leaving on a 6:40 am flight. We have a lot of fun outdoor activities planned so I sure hope the weather cooperates! The temperature difference between Phoenix and San Francisco is at least 30 - 40 degrees.

I have a layout to share that I made just because...featuring a sweet photo of Meredith that was taken several years ago while on a trip to Maui. I combined a piece of beautiful Webster's Pages patterned paper with a few MFT stamps and Die-namics and this is what I came up with.

I stamped the beautiful butterfly on a coordinating die cut both of which are from the MFT Inspired by Butterflies set, added some color with a Copic marker then kissed it with a layer of shimmery glitter. For the title, I stamped one sentiment from the MFT Complimentary Greetings on a label cut using a die from Die-namics Textile Rectangle & Stamp Set then I stamped the other on a die cut strip made using Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon Die & Stamp Set.

I made a few blossoms. The larger tan colored one was made using Tim Holtz Glassine paper along with Die-namics Plentiful Petals and the Coral colored rose was made using Die-namics Royal Rose.

I also stamped and die cut a ticket using the Die-namics Just the Ticket and Stamp Set which is full of fun stamps and a coordinating ticket die! Yeah ;)

Back to School with Pink Paislee 47

Hi everyone! Today it's my turn to post on the Pink Paislee blog and the theme of this week's projects is Back to School. I would love for you to stop on by and say hello ~ click HERE. :)

First up I have a gift bag shaped like a backpack that can easily hold a small gift for your student like a pack of gum, mints or even a gift card. What child, of any age, doesn't want $ to spend on new clothing for school and have fresh breath???

Using the template found here ~ click HERE ~ and fun patterned paper from the Declaration collection, I made the darling backpack box / gift bag.

One of the many things I love about Pink Paislee products is the versatility allowing you to mix and match items from multiple collections when creating! The layout shown below features a combination of fun and pretty products from the Declaration collection, the London Market collection, and the Spring Jubilee collection. For the title, I combined the London Market ~ Jumbo Numbers with letters from Wood Shop Alphabets ~ Lumber Yard and Wood Shop Alphabets ~ Timber.

Using a beautiful butterfly Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die, I cut Declaration ~ Block Party and Declaration ~ Firecracker patterned papers to create a butterfly embellishment. I fastened the layers together using a fun Vintage London Market ~ Spool Button and a pearl brad.

I added a die cut flower embellishment using Die-namics Pretty Posies along with a London Market ~ Collage Sheet of paper. To add a little color to the blossom, I rubbed an ink pad around the edges and stitched a button in the center.

C'est la Vie...MFTWSC85 33

Hi there! It's Wednesday and that means it is time for an all new My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch challenge! Thanks to all who joined along ~ so many wonderful cards! For additional inspiration from participating DT members, please be sure to visit the MFT Blog.

Here's my interpretation:

 I combined the elegant Eiffel Tower die cut made using the Die-namics Eiffel Tower die with a sentiment from the MFT Who's that Parisian Girl? stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a tab made using one of the four dies from the Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome set.

I finished it off with a glitter kissed rose made using the Die-namics Large Royal Rose Die and leaves made using dies from the Die-namics Royal Leaves set. The blossom and leaves are layered on top of a mini doily made using a die from the Die-namics Mini Doily Circles.
