You're My Cup of Tea!

Hi Girls! TGIF! :) The first week back from vacation is always a drag! I am happy that the weekend is here, no big plans, just hanging out with my DH! :) I found the stamp "You're My Cup of Tea" in a scrapbook store while on vacation. I have been dying to use it & my DH knew I had been eyeballing various teapot stamps, so he took it upon himself & ordered the teapot stamp on the WWW that I used on this card. You can imagine how surprised I was when I opened that envelope! :) Woo Who!!!! It was sort of like winning the lottery! Not really, but still pretty exciting! Only a fellow stamper would understand! :) I made this card for my sister Tina. We solve the world's problems together, while sipping a cup of tea! This card is my entry for TWO challenges, the Mojo Monday #90 sketch & for KWerner's Color Inspiration Challenge #54. For color challenge #54, you are supposed to use Green Galore. Thinking of You Card

Hi Cyber Girl Friends! Thanks for "going on" vacation with me! :) I had a lot of fun not only being on vacation with my family but also with you girls! :) It was fun to make a card, post it on my blog to share, then read the comments that followed. May seem silly to some but it sure made my days. :) I have some good news to share with all of you. My "Chemo Buddy" graduated from the Chemo Angel program last week.:) Basically, 3 - 4 weeks after patients have completed their last course of treatment, they "graduate" from the program. In case any of you are interested in becoming a Chemo Angel, you can find more information at http://chemoangels.net. I made this card for her using this week's Splitcoast's Color Challenge #222, CC222. The guidelines for the challenge was to use ONLY WHITE and ONLY ONE LAYER!!!! A Little Rain & Flowers Card #2

Hi Everyone! Before packing up my stampin' goodies last night, I made this card. I used a few of the new treasures I bought while on vacation. :) The umbrella was stamped with Unity's Rain & Flowers stamp set that my DH spotted & I embossed the blue paper with the Quickutz new release Flowers embossing folder. This card is my entry for the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge 183, IS183, where you have to choose your card color scheme based on some item from the website DesignDazzle.com. I chose the Mod Safari Collection, using SU Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Basic Black & Whisper White. The sketch layout inspiration came from the Card Positioning Systems 118 (CPS118).
