Hello (card) from Coronado!

Hello Girls! Today, my honey & I spent the day on Coronado Island. We rented beach cruisers & pedaled around the entire island, stopping for lunch & for a walk along the beach :) Here are some photos I would like to share with you that we captured while on our adventure...

A view of the marina with the Hotel Del in the distance.A view of Downtown San Diego.A view of the Coronado Bridge. My DH next to "OUR" road! :) Isn't that funny?

Hello card

My DH suggested trying a lil' something different with photographing this card :) It is propped in a decorative potted silk plant with downtown San Diego as the prop! What do you think? The sketch inspiration is Kazan's Sketch 32 @ 2Sketches4You & the color combo comes from this week's Splitcoast's CC230 using SU Certainly Celery, Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Close to Cocoa & Whisper White. It is also my entry for this week's challenge @ pileitonchallenge, where you have to combine more than 1 challenge & use 3 flowers. LOL For AMAZING samples of inspiration, I suggest visiting ALL of these sites!!! Thanks for looking at both my photos & my card :) Be Sweet!

Ingredients Used:

Paper: SU Certainly Celery, Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White

Ink: SU Certainly Celery & Chocolate Chip

Stamps: PTI Spiral Bouquet, Polka Dot Basics, Simple Little Things

Sprinkles: PTI buttons, Offray ribbon, generic brads, Spellbinders Scalloped Square nesties, EK Success paper punches

Coronado looks like fun! My hubby was stationed at North Island NAS back in the 80's before we were we! He says the whole island is magical!

Beautiful card as usual, Mona. Question? Did you sew around the card with a machine or by hand? On average, about how long does it take you to make a card?

Hi Girls! I am back in AZ :) Thanks for going on vacation with me :) I never mastered my little paper sewing machine so when I stitch, it is by hand. I am not a "fast" card maker & I envy those who can make a card in 10 min LOL! It can take me an hour or so! :( Hugs, Mona
