Hi there! I hope you are having a great week. Today it's my turn to share a project on the 13arts blog. I made a layout featuring a photo of Scott and I that was taken while we were vacationing in London several years ago: 

I combined pretty papers from the 13arts Cold Wall Collection, 

Frosted Life Collection and Faces of Spring Collection then for added texture and design, I applied Modeling Paste to the background:

Once dry, I embellished with Pearl Silver painted die cut gears, die cut foliage and a variety of blossoms:

for the title, I applied Pearl Silver Acrylic Paint to a chipboard Timeless Subtitle:

For sketch and color inspiration, I joined along with the current kreative concepts: sketch and colour challenges:

Timeless 26

Hi there! Today I am here to share a layout that I made for this month's 13arts monthly challenge. This month's theme is Vintage Memories. 

For my sample, I was inspired to create a layout featuring a photo of me sweet sister Tina that was taken more than 50 years ago ~ note the cars in the driveway!

I combined fabulous papers from the 13arts Timeless, Faces of Spring and Frosted Collections to create the background as well as all the blossoms. Peeking out from under the flowers is a piece of Honeycombs big chipboard that I colorized using the following 13arts paints: Pearl Gold, Gesso, and Matte Turquoise:

Lots of color, texture and dimension on this layout that was created using the following 13arts awesome products: Water ink ~ Orange, Medium Gel,  Glass Microspheres D2 and Microspheres Gold:

For the title, I altered a 13arts Subtitles Timeless using Dark Brown and Distress embossing powder:

best time ever and a 13arts tutorial 36

Hi there! I hope you are having a great week! It's my turn to share a project on the 13arts blog ~ if you get a chance, please be sure to stop by ~ click HERE. I made a layout featuring a photo of Meredith along with a variety of fabulous 13arts products. To create the background, I combined pretty papers from both the Timeless and All is Love collections. 

The title was made using one of the many versatile fun  sentiments from Timeless Subtitles:

I added color to the metal flower embellishments using the following mists / sprays: Pearl Mist ~ Brown, Pearl Mist ~ Navy Blue, Chalk Mist ~ Chalk Dark Brown, Chalk Mist ~ Chalk Turquoise, Water Ink ~ Navy Blue:

To create the trio of clock embellishments, I adhered acrylic dots to 13arts patterned paper, then trimmed around the perimeter:

In case you are curious as to how I created this layout, here are several step shots I took along the way.
Apply a think coat of Gesso ~ Acrylic Primer to the background and embellishments:

Apply Pearl Gold paint to background and embellishments:

Randomly apply the following mists starting with lightest color first and allow to dry in between applications: 13arts Ayeeda: Pearl Mist ~ Brown, Pearl Mist ~ Navy Blue, Chalk Mist ~ Chalk Dark Brown, Chalk Mist ~ Chalk Turquoise, Water Ink ~ Navy Blue:

Randomly apply Gold Glitter paint to flower embellishments:
