Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend! I've been struggling to get my crafty MOJO going. I've grown tired of making holiday cards for now. I have managed to hoard various paints, inks, textures pastes, etc..., all waiting to be used so I opted to create a layout. The 12 x 12 space allows so much more room to be creative than the standard A2 size card.
I joined along with the current 7 Dots Studio challenge where the theme is The Holiday spirit
I scrapped a layout of my sweet dog Griffin all dressed up in his Santa outfit. If that doesn't demonstrate holiday spirit ~ then I'm not sure what does.

I used a variety of beautiful papers from the 7 Dots Studio Cold Country and Thoughts Keeper collections:
I added lots of ink and texture using the Tattered Lace stencil which was designed by my sweet blogging friend Kasia:
The title was die cut using a Tim Holtz Sizzix die:
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the current Creative Scrappers sketch challenge and I'm also linking to the Artist Trading Post challenge where the theme is Let's Celebrate (we're celebrating the holiday spirit in my home :)
Many thanks for stopping by ~ I hope you have a great day / evening!
Be Sweet ;)

You were struggling to get your crafty mojo going???? Geesh Mona I never ever would have thought of that looking at this gem!. Yes a LO gives you plenty of space; but that's too much for me :) I always enjoy to see them; especially as beautiful as yours. Your dog is a cutie. You can bring him :) I must admit admit that I admire your talent and design for mixed media. You showed us so many amazing projects in 2014; 2015 will be just as good. Happy holidays! XX

What a sweet page for sweet Griffin in his Santa outfit - he doesn't look to happy to be wearing it though!!?!! he rather tolerates it for his mother! wonderful textures and colors! I really need to find time to play with all the inks/pastes that I have....

This is so super cute, love how you used this layout. I took a mojo break this past summer/fallish for a few weeks and it was the best thing. I went to scrap expo in Oct and have been making things every since, more CAS and just enjoying it a lot more. I hope your mojo comes back in full swing too.
