Hi there! I hope you are having a great week! It's time for an all new MFTWSC sketch challenge. Thanks to all who joined along with last week's sketch ~ so many fantastic entries!
This week, we at MFT have another fabulous sketch for you to create with:
I opted to create a rather clean and simple card for this week's challenge embracing all the primitive white space.
To create this card, I die cut a piece of Primitive White cardstock using the Die-namics Polka Dot Cover-Up die. I cut three Primitive White stitched circles then added a die cut Lily to each that were cut using the Die-namics Lily die. The sentiment is from Cheerful Blessings:
For color inspiration, I joined along with the current ColourQ color challenge:
Thanks so much for visiting ~ I hope you join along in the fun! You have the opportunity to win a $20. gift certificate to the MFT Boutique! Be sure to visit the MFT blog for additional inspiration.Be Sweet ;)

Hi there! I hope you are having a great week so far! One of my crafting goals for 2014 is to join along with Tim Holtz's monthly 12 tags of 2014. I sadly missed March but I'm here today with April's entry :) Tim is forever sharing how to videos and tutorials on how to use all the fantastic Ranger products and inspiring us all to create. If you are like me, you have things you purchased but never used, well now is a good time to dust those off and put them to good use!
Here's a closer look:
The roses were made believe it or not using Tim's pine cone die which my dear friend Sue gifted to me a few years ago :). In case you are curious to know how to make them, Tim shares an awesome tutorial on his blog here. To colorize them, I used Spiced Marmelade, Broken China and Fired Brick Distress inks then added a coat of Ranger Rock Candy glitter. The tag looked a little naked so I added a sweet die cut grungeboard board which I coated with Ranger Rock Candy Crackle followed with some rubbed on Tea Dye and Broken China Distress Inks:
Following Tim's tutorial, I distressed and colored the die cut grungeboard and randomly filled in with fun die cut pieces from the Menagerie 8 paper pack and cork from my stash:
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! It's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week Anna-Karin is challenging us all to be inspired by yellow. From soft buttery yellow to electric neon. I can't wait to see what you create!

The color yellow reminds me of signs of Spring ~ newly blossomed flowers and sweet little birds chirping about which was my source of inspiration to create my tag.

I added texture to the Ranger Manila tag using the Bricked Texture Fade, applied a thin coat of Gesso then added color using mustard seed and scattered straw Distress Inks followed with more texture using Tim Holtz Doily stencil.

I embellished with a die cut Caged Bird along with a trio of blossoms that were die cut using the Simon Says Stamp Bella Bloom craft die along with French Industrial paper and scattered straw Distress Ink.
I completed the tag with one of the many fun sentiments included in the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Hashtags stamp set and a May Arts Ivory twine bow.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Please be sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has created!

Hi there! Are you ready for the weekend? I'm so excited because I had a chance to create just for fun so I joined along with the Prima: April Build-A-Page sketch challenge.
I created a layout featuring a photo of Scott that I took while we were on vacation in Rome. I started by layering various papers from the fabulous Cartographer Collection which screams an old world style, coordinating perfectly with my photo and theme I was trying to capture. One of the rules is that you need to use at least 90% Prima products (which I did with no trouble).
I stamped a variety of clocks from Timeless as well as one of the fun images from Collage Backgrounds followed with randomly stenciled on circles using various mediums from my stash:
Once I had the background completed, I stitched on the photo after cutting it into thirds:
I had loads of fun embellishing with an assortment of awesome Prima metal trinkets and of course beautiful blooms:
For the sentiment, I stamped the word exploring using a fun set of Prima typewriter font stamps:
Thanks so much for visiting ~ I hope you have a great weekend!
Be Sweet ;)

Hi there! Today I have a collection of cards to share featuring the newly released Pion design Memory Notes beautiful papers. When the box arrived from Sweden, I couldn't wait to dive in and create.
For the first two cards, I used beautiful Spellbinders dies to die cut the sweet baby images and foliage:
I embellished with a blossom from my stash and a die cut doily that was made using one of the beautiful Die-namics Mini Delicate Doilies:
The sentiment is from Beautiful Baby:

For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the current Seize The Sketch sketch challenge:
The next set of cards features a combination of pretty papers from the Pion design Memory Notes and A Day in May collections:
I also combined various Spellbinders and Die-namics dies:
The beautiful image was cut and layered using various Spellbinders dies as well as the foliage:
