Hi there! Hope you are having a great day! One of the many things on my crafty 2014 New Year's resolution to do list is to participate monthly in the Tim Holtz's 12 tags of 2014. I tend to collect / hoard so many of Tim's products so I figured this would be a great way to actually use them! With that being said, here's my take on Tim's January 2014 tag:

A Valentine's Day tag for Scott:

I dusted off and used the Tim Holtz Angel Wings die as well as the Tim Holtz Mini Clock Key & Pocket Watch die to die cut metal foil covered grungeboard. I embossed the pieces with various Tim Holtz embossing folders then applied alcohol ink (a technique I learned from Tim :). For the background, I combined all of the following of Tim's products: a stencil, Distress Ink, rub ons, stamps, a ticket and metal trinkets:

But you really created a stunning tag and it really is just beautiful. One of my scrappy resolutions this year is to really use my stash and not buy as much as I normally do. It's just crazy looking at my stash and then still buying more. So that's my resolution. I started 2 weeks back by groing through my entire room and sorting out, giving away and purging junk.
