 I made a card featuring a beautiful sentiment from Cheerful Greetings along with a heart from Heart Balloons on a Stitched Circle die cut. Peeking out from behind is a Dainty Doily and decorative stitched die cut strip:

To create this card, I stamped a sentiment from Cheerful Blessings on a die cut Pierced Oval, layered it on an Insulation Pink Pierced Oval then on top of a Kraft Heirloom Label die cut:

A Cameo Appearance 26

Hi there! Today I am here sharing my project for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where the theme is A Cameo Appearance. To make this project, I painted a burlap canvas, adhered a die cut oval piece of patterned paper, embellished with a variety of die cut flowers and foliage then topped it off with a vintage crackled cameo and frame. I love the beautiful vintage crackled aged effect that is achieved so easily with this technique.

Wonderful time...13 Days with 13arts and Flying Unicorn 36

Hi there! Welcome to 13 days with 13arts and the Flying Unicorn! For the previous 7 days and the following 5 days, you will find a LOT of inspiration from many 13arts DT members on the blog HERE and The Flying Unicorn DT members on their blog HERE. I created a canvas featuring a photo of Connor that was taken several years ago, using a combination of 13arts and Flying Unicorn products. Remember, The Flying Unicorn also carries MANY 13arts products HERE.

To create this project, I adhered various 13arts patterned papers from the Timeless collection to a canvas, added texture and color then embellished:

Here are a few step shots I took along the way to share with you my creative process.

Using a stencil and 13arts Ayeeda Acrylic Modeling Paste allow to dry then add color using the following 13arts Ayeeda ink and mists: Chalk White, Pearl Green, Pearl Navy Blue and Orange Water Ink:

Next, add more texture and interest using 13arts Ayeeda Powder 3D Glass Filler along with 13arts Ayeeda Medium Acrylic Gel Medium:

Once dry, apply the following 13arts Ayeeda products: Gesso, Mint and Peach acylic paints:
