Happy Times... 30

Hi there! I hope you are off to a great start of a new week! Today I have a project to share featuring pretty patterned papers from Pion design's Alma's Sewing Room Collection. To create the base and background of this project, I die cut and layered three different patterned papers using various Spellbinders dies stitching around the oval shaped piece. Once I had the die cut pieces adhered and stitched together, I added texture using modeling paste and a stencil along with some stamping. 

I stamped the girl image twice, once on a piece of purple wallflower ~ back patterned paper for her body then on a piece of purple wallflower ~ front for her dress. I trimmed around the stamped images, colored her skin, hair, shoes and headband using Copic markers, gave her some chalk rosy cheeks and trimmed with pearls. 

I embellished with a variety of homemade flowers made from the following pretty patterned papers: Cut out, Sewing collage and Blue room.
