August WMS S.O.A.P. Day 4 44

Mona Pendleton | Thursday, August 4, 2011 @ 12:00 AM | , ,

Welcome to Day #4 of the Waltzingmouse Stamps ~ Stamps Of Approval Parade (S.O.A.P.) Today we are revisiting the fabulous Afternoon Tea stamp set. I have also included stamps from Afternoon Tea Sentiments and Sweethearts as they all jelled together like tea and honey ;) Just like Melissa Frances products work so beautifully with Waltzingmouse Stamps! I would be tickled pink and very grateful if you would take a peek at the Melissa Frances site click HERE and see a few of my Waltzingmouse projects featured there :)
There are lots of festivities going on at Waltzingmouse Stamps that you won't want to miss, so please be sure to visit Claire's blog (click HERE) for COMPLETE details or refer to the bottom of this post!!! Today, we are all focusing on Free Spirit Boy stamp set.
I stamped and embossed the lovely fine China looking tea cup from Afternoon Tea Sentiments, using a few Copics added a bit of shading, then carefully trimmed around the edges. I stamped a little heart from Sweethearts and added a little glittery goodness for a bit of sparkle. I trimmed a small glassine bag to fit a TAZO green tea tea bag (my fave), stitched the edges and used a Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Borderabilities Petite to trim the upper edge. I punched a hole in the tea bag and attached a piece of seam binding. I topped it off with a seam binding bow and darling tag made using just one of the many from Afternoon Tea and showcased it all on some pretty DP from the Melissa Frances 5th Avenue Collection
For sketch inspiration, I referred to this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #58 ~ sketch courtesy of the sweet Mischief Maker DT Member ~ Kelly Schirmer:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have maybe been inspired in some way with all the many projects that myself, Claire and several of the Waltzingmouse DT Members have shared over the past several days! Please be sure to visit them today and see what they will amaze you with next:

How to play:
Find a card or project from any of the projects posted over the past few days by the WMS Design Team, CASE that project using Waltzingmouse Stamp images, and link it using the Inlinkz on Claire’s blog at http://waltzingmouse.blogspot.com/. At the end of the competition, one project will be randomly selected to be highlighted with a Parade of its own on several of the Design Team blogs.
We hope you will enjoy this competition and that it will inspire your creativity. You have one week to complete and link your project as the competition will close on June 10th at 8:00 AM Claire’s time, which is 3 AM Eastern, 2 AM Central and Midnight, Pacific time. The winner will be announced on Claire’s blog on August 11th. Good Luck!
