Blooms Galore..WMSC9 51

Mona Pendleton | Saturday, August 7, 2010 @ 12:00 AM |

Happy Saturday! Here today to share a card that I made for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge. Claire has expanded the Waltzingmouse Sketch Crew aka: The Mischief Makers :) Please be sure to head on over to the WMSC blog & give them all a warm welcome! In celebration of the Mischief Makers, there will be a prize drawing for a stamp set of choice for those who play in this week's challenge! I hope you come join the fun!

I had so much fun stamping the 2 different backgrounds on this card :) the yellow polka-dots were stamped using an I use image from the Off Beat Backgrounds & for the pretty white embossed decorative background on the lower half of the card, I used an image from the Pic - Nic Patterns set.

Have you played with fabric ribbon tape yet? Oh my! This stuff is cool! I used some to creatt the pleated plaid border on the far left, far right & big blossom. I inked up a few different sizes of the Big Blooms - Chrysanthemums solid blossom image, hand cut it out then layered with scalloped circles.

I hope you can join along with this week's sketch challenge. After you have made your project, please head on over to The Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge site & link your post. If you post your creations in an on-line gallery, please label it WMSC9 so we won't miss them! Be sure to see what the Waltzingmouse DT girls & Mischief Makers have created. I hope you come join the fun this week & play along with the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge! Please be sure to visit the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge site for complete details.

That's all I have for today - Thanks so much for looking - have a great weekend!
