An Apple A Day...Waltzingmouse Stamps Day 2 Peeks 49

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, July 25, 2010 @ 12:00 AM | ,

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for the sweet comments on my Big Spooky News! I still can't believe Claire invited me to play on her Waltzingmouse Stamps DT team along with all the inspiring DT girls :) It is true so here I am today to share some more Peeks of treats I made using the Waltzingmouse Stamps: Midnight Feast set which will be available for purchase at the Waltzingmouse Stamps on-line store Tuesday, July 27th.

When I first set eyes on the caramel apples & toffee apples stamps, I immediately knew what I wanted to create with them! I love giving home-spun, inexpensive gifts to my co-workers & they love being on the receiving end :) BOTH Waltzingmouse Stamps: Midnight Feast & Wanda's Pantry suits my fancy because these sets contain so many images that can easily be mixed & matched allowing endless opportunities!

This lil' project is super easy & oh so sweet :) LOL The CARAMEL apples tagged jar contains a thick layer of caramel sauce & 1/2 EACH of a large Granny Smith & Red Delicious apple chunks on top.

The toffee apples jar contains a layer of thick caramel sauce, one HEATH candy bar chopped to bits & 1/2 Each of a large Granny Smith & Red Delicious apple chunks on top.

Here are a few pics & details sharing how I made my projects today:

After stamping the CARAMEL apples & toffee images, I inked up one of the many stamps from the Very Vintage Labels No. 5 set (which happens to be the very first Waltzingmouse Stamps set I purchased many moons ago!), centered & adhered a Spellbinders™ S4-229 Labels Five die template in position, then ran it through The Wizard™.

Up close you can get a better look at Wanda riding her broom!

One of the Spellbinders™ S4-114 Standard Circles LG die templates fits wonderfully right around Wanda!

To make the fabric jar topper in the pic below, I began with cutting a circular piece of muslin fabric, frayed the edges then stamped a little border using various lil' bats, moons & star stamps from Midnight Feast.

I always have to make a little extra for my honey & I to share ;)

So are you getting in the mood for Halloween yet??? For some more eye-candy, please be sure to see what Claire, Julia, Lynn, Anya, Bonnie, Jennifer & Belinda have created to get you inspired!!!

Thanks for looking! I will be back tomorrow to share some more Sneak Peeks :) Be Sweet!

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps: Midnight Feast, Very Vintage Labels No. 5

Spellbinders™ Nestabilities S4-229 Labels Five, S4-250 Big Scalloped Circles SM, S4-249 Big Scalloped Circles LG, S4-114 Standard Circles LG, W-001 The Wizard™
