Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend! I've had a creative kind of day. First up is a card that I made for my sweet sister Tina. We enjoy drinking Orange Spice ice tea together when she comes over to visit so I pulled out the PTI Tea for Two stamp set and created a card for her :)
I recently purchased a few PTI ink pads including Autumn Rose which I used to stamp the tea pot with and I'm really disappointed because the image is not real crisp. What's up with that?! I've contacted customer service and I'm hoping to get some sort of response. Tina will surely appreciate the card regardless ;)

It's Day 9 of 30 in 30:
I was in the mood to paint roses so I pulled out one of Gary Jenkins The Beauty of Oil Painting books and followed along with the Tea Rose tutorial. Since I haven't practiced painting roses in awhile, I first painted on an 8" x 8" linen canvas board:
the roses seemed to grow as I painted and the canvas became very full in no time!
I was brave and gave it another try on a 16" x 20" linen canvas. NO two paintings are ever the same (at least not for me)! There are so many that I've done in the past that I'm going to revisit and repaint on a larger size canvas to hang in my home.
I'm linking my paintings to this week's Paint Party Friday site:
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

OHHH my. You are a wonderful artist. Those flowers are breath taking.
Your paintings absolutely amaze me, Mona--gorgeous colors & strokes--really love how you do the leaves! Fun you can enjoy tea time with your sister & she will certainly love your beautiful card! Gotta say, the Mini Misti is one tool purchase I don't regret as I can just keep stamping until the image depth is what I want.
