Just A Little Note 32

Hi! Tina and I spent the weekend helping Angie relocate to San Diego. Angie is now in France for another U.S. Cycling team competition. Today I'm playing along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the theme is to "Mask a Sentiment".

I created a card featuring a masked sentiment from the PTI Floral Sketches stamp set with beautiful blossoms and foliage from the PTI Gran's Garden stamp set.

Up next is an 8" x 10" oil painting featuring a vase of roses:

I'm joining along with the following card challenges: for sketch inspiration, the Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge:

Congratulations 22

Hi there! Today I'm joining along with the PTI Make It Monday challenge where the challenge is to create a project featuring Ink Blending on Colored Cardstock. I made a card for sweet daughter Angie who will be graduating from college this week.

I randomly stamped, heat embossed then blended coordinating ink around the butterflies to create the background. For the focal point, I stamped then heat embossed the larger embossed butterfly from the What The Doodle: Mini Butterfly stamp set as well.

In case you missed my post (HERE), Angie is currently a member of the US Cycling team. Several weeks ago, she traveled to Hiroshima, Japan and placed second on the podium (far left):

This past week, Angie traveled to Sydney, Australia where she placed second ago:

Here's Angie defying gravity in Australia!

Happy Birthday 22

Hi! I'm joining along with the PTI Make it Monday challenge where the challenge is to create a project featuring stenciled edges. Today we're celebrating my sweet daughter Angie's 28th birthday so this card is for her which features a couple of butterflies and a sentiment from the PTI Butterfly Dreams stamp set complete with stenciled edges using a honeycomb stencil:
I'm so proud of Angie who will be graduating from the university in May. Angie has been competing on the international circuit for many years. During the 2017 season, Angie qualified 3rd at the world competition in China which has earned her a place on the US Cycling Freestyle Biking team. One of her biking goals is to qualify for the 2020 Olympics representing Team USA in Tokyo. If you'd like to see more of Angie, please feel free to visit her FB page here: https://www.facebook.com/angiemarinobmx/ :)

Here are a few photos of Angie in action on her bike:

Happy Anniversary 20

Hi! Today I'm joining along with the March PTI Blog Hop where the challenge is to create a project based on the pretty inspiration photo shown below:

I was inspired by the beautiful basket of flowers especially the pretty tulips.

I created an Anniversary card for my dear son Jerry and April who will be celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary this month. I inked up the pretty tulips image from the PTI Friendship Jar Spring Fillers stamp set:
