Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! Today I have a layout to share featuring a photo of sweet Meredith posing in her Halloween Woodland Fairy costume:
I joined along with the current 7 Dots Studio challenge, where  the theme is all about Trees:
I started with a piece of fun patterned paper from the Cold Country collection:
Behind the photo, I layered a piece of pretty patterned paper from 9th Wave collection. Once texture and design was added to the background using a stencil along with modeling paste, I randomly applied ColourArte Radiant Rain Shimmering Mists: Sea Foam and Teal Zircon:
Once I was satisfied with the background, I embellished with a variety of blossoms, die cut foliage and fun Gina's Designs Feathery Flourishes which I applied Gesso followed with sprayed Sea Foam Mist:
I completed the layout with random splatters of paint:
For color inspiration, I joined along with the Scrap-pygovka challenge:
and for sketch inspiration, I joined along with the current Stick It Down sketch challenge (I flipped the sketch):

Hello there! I hope you are enjoying the weekend! We had a few sun showers this morning but now we're back to enjoying sunny blue skies. I love to challenge myself to create outside my comfort zone so I did just that by taking on the June's Prima Product Pick challenge:
I created a greeting card featuring a variety of fun Prima products:
To create this card, I started with a sheet of patterned paper from the Prima Cartographer collection:
I added texture and design using a Prima Damask stencil along with Prima Modeling paste. Once dry, I applied ColourArte Teal Zircon Silks Acrylic Glaze followed with random strokes of Prima Gesso:

For a bit of shimmer and shine, I randomly adhered Prima Glass glitter to the background:

Then embellished with a Prima die cut doily, die cut foliage and butterfly cut using paper from the Cartographer collection along with a variety of Prima blossoms:
For color inspiration, I joined along with the current Cardabilites sketch challenge:
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today ~ I hope you have a great weekend!

Happy 30

Mona Pendleton | Friday, June 5, 2015 @ 3:22 PM | , ,

Hi there! So happy the weekend is here! It's the beginning of the month so that means there's a new fun Prima Build A Page sketch challenge up for those who want to give it a try:
I enjoy playing along and taking on the challenge, so I pulled out a variety of my Prima products and created a mixed media layout:
I scrapped a photo of my sweet girl Gretchen and I :)
I was inspired by Prima's DT member Louise's sample. I started with a pretty piece of paper from the Prima Princess Collection then added texture and design a Prima stencil and Prima along with Prima Modeling Paste:
I layered the photo on top of a die cut doily that was made using a Prima die and colored using Prima Color Bloom Spray Gold Foil Mist:
I surrounded the photo with Prima Crystal and Butter Glass Beads:
along with several Prima blossoms and a Prima zipper embellishment:
For color inspiration, I joined along with the June Scrap Around The World challenge:
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
