Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend! It's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week's challenge theme is all about Distressing! From inking edges brown to Tim Holtz distress products, sanding paper to aging with tea stain ~ how will you distress? Can't wait to see what you create!

I was inspired to create a card using Distress Inks to colorize the background.

To create this card, I stamped and heat embossed the beautiful Butterflies image on a piece of Gloss Paper then added color using a variety of Distress Inks. For added interest, I distressed many of the edges and embellished with a distressed die cut wreath.

Happy Spring...MFT New Release Countdown Day 3 42

Hi there! Welcome to Day 3 of the MFT March New Release Countdown! We're getting closer!!! The March New Product Launch will be on Tuesday, March 11th at 10 PM Eastern in the MFT Boutique.

Today I have a card to share featuring a fun sentiment from SDD Spring Has Sprung along with the new Wood Plank Background and a sweet die cut lily that was made using the Die-namics Lily:

To create this card, I first stamped all the background papers using the following stamp and ink combinations: Wood Plank Background / Kraft ink, Darling Dots / Grapesicle ink, Typewriter Text Background / Berrylicious ink. Once I had the front of the card assembled, I stamped a fun sentiment from SDD Spring Has Sprung x 2 using Black Licorice ink for the first stamp then Grapesicle ink for the solid stamp image on a Pierced Circle die cut then completed the card with a Grapesicle die cut lily:

Today I have a card to share featuring a beautiful sentiment from Words of Inspiration along with a pretty die cut lily that was made using the new Die-namics Lily:

To create this card, I stamped one of the wonderful sentiments from Words of Inspiration on a Pierced Square die cut, layered using Kraft cardstock and pretty paper from the Pion design Flower  Frames collection. I completed it with a pretty die cut lily along with a die cut stitched strip that was made using a die from the Die-namics Blueprints  2 set:

Hello! Welcome to Day 5 of the MFT March New Release Countdown! We're getting closer!!! The March New Product Launch will be on Tuesday, March 11th at 10 PM Eastern in the MFT Boutique.

Today I have a card to share featuring a combination of the fun Wood Plank Background stamp along with a sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings T00:

To create the background, I inked up the Wood Plank Background stamp with Steel Blue ink then adhered three die cut strips that were made using a die from the Die-namics Blueprints 2 set. I completed it with a fun sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings T00 which I stamped/heat embossed on die cut Black Licorice Pierced Rectangle:
