Deck The Halls...MFT October Teasers Day 4 55

Hello and welcome to Day 4 of the MFT October Teasers! The new products will be available on Tuesday, October 8th at 10 PM Eastern in the MFT Boutique. This release, just like ALL of MFT's releases is overflowing with fabulous products! Today I have a layout to share featuring a Christmas time photo of Connor that was taken several years ago. Once I added texture and design to the background using the Square Tiles Stencil, I adhered the mounted photo and embellished with fun various stamped / die cut items included in the release.

Using a Pierced Traditional Tag STAX die, I die cut a piece of Kraft cs, stamped the Sheet Music Background using Sweet Tooth ink then adhered a Jellybean Green stamped Christmas tree from Starry Christmas. For the title, I stamped one of the fun sentiments from LLD Holiday Subway Art. 

Using the new Paver Red ink, I stamped a reindeer from Starry Christmas on a coordinating die cut made using a Die-namics Starry Christmas die:

I finished it off with a fun little banner made using both the Ornament Banner Builder stamp set along with the coordinating Die-namics Ornament Banner Builder die.

Next up is a Holiday card featuring a sentiment from LLD Holiday Subway Art which is full of a variety of verstile sentiments!

I stamped the sentiment using Jellybean Green ink on a layered die cut label made using Die-namics Layered Label then topped is off with a Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose:

Bless Your Nest...AMMCC9 31

Hi there! I'm so happy the weekend is here. It's Fall break for Connor and Meredith already and we are headed to San Diego and Los Angeles Saturday morning for a few days of fun :) 

It's time for an all new Mixed Media Color Challenge. Thanks so much to all who joined along with challenge #8 ~ once again, the gallery was full of so many beautiful projects! For nearly the next two weeks, we will be playing with the following color combination: pink, red and blue:

For this challenge, I was inspired to create a project featuring a variety of die cuts, stamps and texture:

To begin, I added texture to the background using the Brick Wall Stencil along with texture paste. After applying paint, I was ready to embellish. Peeking out from behind the chipboard birdcage is a clock that was stamped using Timeless:

I added an elegant die cut butterfly that was made using one of the dies from Fancy Butterflies along with a pretty rose blossom:

I adhered a trio of store bought flowers along with a pretty crocheted one made by my sweet sister Tina :) 

I gave the naked chipboard bird's next a coat of gesso followed with a coat of crackle medium. For the title, I stamped a sentiment from Inspired By Birds on a die cut sentiment strip then doodled around the perimeter:

Merry...MFT October Teasers Day 2 58

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the MFT October Teasers! The new products will be available on Tuesday, October 8th at 10 PM Eastern in the MFT Boutique. This release, just like ALL of MFT's releases is overflowing with fabulous products! In case you missed my post yesterday, (click HERE), I'm very excited to introduce you to my newest stamp set, the coordinating die set as well as 1 of 3 stencil designs that are included in this month's release!

The Starry Christmas stamp set:

First up is a layout featuring of Scott that was taken on Christmas Day several years ago. To create this layout, I first randomly added texture and design using the Stargaze Stencil and some molding paste. Once dry, I randomly spritzed on some color spray, allowed to dry then randomly stamped the Sheet Music Background stamp which by the way is the very 1st cling rubber background stamp and I can't seem to put it down!

Up close, you can get a good look at the textured background! I stamped and embossed the tree design from Starry Christmas on the coordinating die cut made using the Die-namics Starry Christmas die.

I framed the photo of sweet Scott with a die cut frame made using the Die-namics Merry Photo Card Frame die then finishing it with a few die cut Poinsettias and Stars:

Next up is a card featuring the dove image from Starry Christmas.

Rather than frame a photo with the Die-namics Joy Photo Card Frame die, I framed a Stargaze stenciled background:

Last but not least, is a card featuring the reindeer from Starry Christmas which I stamped using Paver Red ink:

After stamping the reindeer, I layered him on a die cut doily then stamped a sentiment from Starry Christmas on a die cut layered tag that was made using Die-namics Pierced Traditional Tags STAX.

Today I'm very excited to introduce you to my newest stamp set, the coordinating die set as well as 1 of 3 stencil designs that are included in this month's release!

I created a layout featuring a Christmas time photo of Meredith that was taken years ago. Using the Square Tiles Stencil, I added texture and design to all four corners on the background as well as behind the photo of Meredith then randomly stamped the Sheet Music Background: 

I stamped then heat embossed the Christmas tree, Reindeer and Dove from Starry Christmas on their coordinating die cuts made using Die-namics Starry Christmas then applied Distress ink around the perimeter of each:

For a bit of contrast, I stamped then heat embossed the snowflakes from Lisa's new set: Snowflake Splendor on their coordinating die cuts made using Die-namics Snowflake Splendor and Kraft cardstock:

For the title, I stamped one of the many sentiments from Starry Christmas on a die cut sentiment strip made using a Die-namics Sentiment Strips die:

I also included a trio of Pink Lemonade die cut pretty poinsettias that were made using Die-namics Poinsettia:
