MFT August Teaser Time Day 3 70

Hi there! Welcome to Day 3 of 7 of the MFT August Teaser Time! I hope you are enjoying the DT samples thus far! Today we are showcasing the following sets: Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn and Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents.

I have two projects to share today. First up, is a card which I made for my MIL featuring a beautiful sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a pretty label made using a Die-namics Designer Labels 4 STAX die.

I made a Cabbage like Rose using the Die-namics Layered Rose set and layered it on top of a corrugated heart die cut that was made using the Die-namics Hearts a Plenty.

My second project is a layout featuring a lovely sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn set which is full of many versatile sentiments. When I saw this sentiment, I immediately knew I wanted to scrap a layout of Meredith being herself and doing what she loves the most! :)

I stamped the sentiment on a larger label that was cut using a Die-namics Designer Labels 4 STAX die then I added a decorative strip that was made using the Die-namics Double Dot Border die.

I LOVE to make flowers so I made a variety for this layout using the following dies: Die-namics Layered Rose, Die-namics Mini Royal Roses and the Die-namics Royal Rose die. Note the corrugated flourish peeking out from underneath?, that was made using the Die-namics Medium Leafy Flourish.

It's time again for a new monthly sketch over at Once Upon A Sketch! Over 100 players! Thanks to all who took on the challenge ~ so many beautiful layouts! Shown below is August's lovely sketch with a Theme: Season (Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring)

For my layout, I featured a photo of Emily, Connor and Meredith that was taken for this year's SPRING prom.

This layout contains 100% homemade paper flowers using a variety of Die-namics dies along with a few chipboard elements from Imaginarium Designs. What do you think of the big tan bloom shown below? I made that using Grungepaper and the Die-namics Plentiful Petals which happens to be at the top of my die flower making list right now! :)

Shown below is a chipboard flourish that I altered using Gesso and Ranger Distress Stain along with a Grunge paper rolled rose using a Die-namics Mini Royal Roses die:

I love to get a lot of mileage out of my stamps and incorporate them when scrapping as well as card making. To make the heart die cut below, I used the Die-namics Layered Heart to cut two different layers: patterned paper and corrugated cardboard, then I centered and stamped a sentiment from Die-namics Behind the Camera Die and Stamp Set and finished it off with rolled rose:

MFT August Teaser Time Day 2 65

Hi there! Welcome to Day 2 of 7 of the MFT August Teaser Time! Hope you are enjoying the DT samples thus far! Today we are showcasing the following sets: Inspired by the Front Porch - Fall and Mouse in the House - It's Your Birthday.

I have two cards to share today. First up is a card which features the beautiful rocking chair image from the Inspired by the Front Porch stamp set. LOTS of layers on this one! I stamped the image, cut using an oval die from the Die-namics Oval STAX Set 1, layered on top of a Die-namics OVAL Decorative Doily die cut then layered on a label cut using a Designer Labels 4 STAX die cut.

I made a Rose using the Die-namics Layered Rose dies and to add a little texture, I used the Die-namics Medium Leafy Flourish die to cut a piece of corrugated cardboard.

I finished off the inside with a sentiment from Inspired by the Front Porch stamp set.

My second card features the cute mouse from the Mouse in the House - It's Your Birthday set. I paper pieced her shirt and the balloon and colored the rest of the stamped images with an assortment of Copic markers. The fun longer arrow from Die-namics Lead the Way seemed to be the perfect fit for the sentiment.

Shown below is a close up of the layered Rose blossom that was made using the Die-namics Layered Rose dies. For a different look, I stitched a MFT Razzle Berry button in the center of this rose and left it flatter than the one shown above.

The inside of this card features a few sentiments from Mouse in the House - It's Your Birthday set along with a variety of die cuts. LOVE the fun new Die-namics Wavy Edge die ~ used to cut the decorative bottom borders!

Hi there! I'm here to share a card I made for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club sketch #83. For additional inspiration from participating DT members, please be sure to visit the MFT Blog.

To create this card, I used a pretty tea pot image, coordinating die and sentiment from the
Die-namics Always Time for Tea Die & Stamp Set. I adhered the tea pot on top of a few doilies that were cut using both dies from the Die-namics Dainty Doily DUO set. I finished it off with a glitter kissed rose made using a die from Die-namics Mini Royal Roses.
