Easter Eggs full of love 43

Mona Pendleton | Friday, March 4, 2011 @ 10:56 AM | , ,

Hi there! I'm so happy it's Friday because I have the day off from work and the weekend weather outlook for Phoenix is high in the 80's with sunny blue skies :) YAHOO!!! I pulled out Waltzingmouse Nestie Eggs and started stamping away.
For sketch inspiration, I played along with the Card Patterns Sketch 104:
Close up, you can see the shimmery glitter that makes the eggs appear as though they are sugar coated turning them into little tasty morsels of calorie FREE eye candy :) LOL
Thank you so much for visiting today - hope you have a great weekend! Be Sweet :)

Happy Birthday JennyLee! 45

Mona Pendleton | Wednesday, March 2, 2011 @ 10:32 PM | , ,

Hi there! Hope you are all having a great week! Here today to share a Birthday card I made for niece JennyLee who is more like a "little" sister than me. It's another CAS card of sorts. Not a whole lot of the extra "fluff" that I LOVE so much ;)
I pieced several patterns from the Making Memories Je t'adore Collection, added a bow, Prima rose and topped it off with the elegant Happy Birthday sentiment from Waltzingmouse Say it with Style.
For sketch inspiration, I played along with last week's Stampin' Royalty Sketch Challenge: (I'm too late to enter, but I loved the sketch anyways :)
Thanks for visiting today! Hope you have a great day ~ Be Sweet!

My Apologies 46

Mona Pendleton | Tuesday, March 1, 2011 @ 11:27 PM | , ,

Hi there! Thanks to those who stopped by and left a sweet comment or two on my Waltzingmouse Stamps preview posts over the past several days :) I am so happy to hear so many of you are as excited about the release as I am! Today, I have a CAS card of sorts to share:
If you visit here often, you know how challenging a CAS card is for me! I love to lay it all on thick! I love lots of embellishments such as flowers, pearls, lace, buttons, bows, etc......   I think the My Mind's Eye Lush Collection patterned paper is so elegant and classy. All I did was add a label from Very Vintage Labels No. 4  and the "My Apologies" sentiment from Say It With Style. For sketch inspiration, I played along with this week's sketch challenge over at the clean & simple stamping blog:
Not much to see close up except the popped up sentiment for a bit of dimension and the fabulous unique embossed edges that Spellbinders™ die templates are known for :)
That's all I have to share with you today Thanks so much for looking! Be Sweet :)

Waltzingmouse Stamps March Waltz 118

Mona Pendleton | @ 12:00 PM | , ,

Hi There! I hope you are as excited about this month's Waltzingmouse Stamps Release as I am?! Claire will be accepting orders TODAY for all FIVE sets:  Bitty Banners, Vintage Banners, Vintage Labels No. 18, Way Out West and Back in the Saddle. If you arrived here from Belinda's blog, then you are right where you should be! If not, please hop back over to Claire's blog where the celebration began!

A few minor details: As with all of Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team Blog Waltzes, you have the opportunity to win a stamp set of your choice. There will be a prize (a stamp set of choice) via a random drawing from one of the Design Team Members blog. You will have until 11:59 pm Eastern  March 2nd to leave your comments. The winner will be posted on Claire's blog on March 3rd. Good Luck!

I created a SPRING themed banner using Vintage Banners:
I inked up one of the many gorgeous images from Vintage Banners using a S5-028 Nested Pennants die template to cut the images and layered on a lacy pennant cut using a S5-029 Nested Lacey Pennant die template.
Each pennant is adorned with a layered butterfly and little rose.
That's all I have to share, to continue with the Waltz, please visit Jennifer's blog to see what she has to share with you! Thanks so much for looking!

Thanks so much for visiting! Be Sweet :)
