Hello Girls! Today, my honey & I spent the day on Coronado Island. We rented beach cruisers & pedaled around the entire island, stopping for lunch & for a walk along the beach :) Here are some photos I would like to share with you that we captured while on our adventure...

My DH suggested trying a lil' something different with photographing this card :) It is propped in a decorative potted silk plant with downtown San Diego as the prop! What do you think? The sketch inspiration is Kazan's Sketch 32 @ 2Sketches4You & the color combo comes from this week's Splitcoast's CC230 using SU Certainly Celery, Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Close to Cocoa & Whisper White. It is also my entry for this week's challenge @ pileitonchallenge, where you have to combine more than 1 challenge & use 3 flowers. Torrey Pines State Park

Hi Girlies! Today, my DH & I went hiking at Torrey Pines State Park, CA & I would like to share some photos with you of this gorgeous place! :)
This is a Southern Coastal view.
This is a Northern Coastal view.
Here I am with my DH! :)
These are some of the beautiful etched cliffs.You can hike a trail that takes you down to the beach. This view is looking up at the cliffs from the beach.
While we were hiking out of the park, we saw this SD Fire & Rescue helicopter hovering in the direction we were headed! We were not sure what the heck was going on. We were thinking the worse, maybe a Mountain Lion attack!

You can imagine our surprise when we saw all these trucks in the parking lot next to my car! There was a brush fire just over the other side of the ridge! Thank goodness the wind was blowing away from this parking lot!!!!

This is our favorite candy store in Old Town San Diego. They make fresh Salt Water Taffy daily which satisfies my DH's sweet tooth! :)

Snow Flakes In The Desert continued...

Hi Girls! I am sooo happy today is Monday! I am typing this post while on a road trip with my DH. We are escaping the AZ heat for a few days & will be kickin' around San Diego :) Of course, I packed some stampin' supplies to keep my hands busy! I made this Snowflake card to accompany the basket & tag from my 1st Snowflakes In The Desert post. My sketch inspiration is from last week's CPS126 challenge which I was too late to enter because I was on call all weekend for emergency surgeries & had to work a lot :( Regardless, I looove both the layout from CPS & Lauren's color combo.
