Some Sweetness... 64

Hi there! Hope you are all having a great week! I am tickled pink - my new job is going well - making new friends and lovin' the NO call part! YAHOOO!! I have the day off from work today so I stayed up late last night playing around in my "studio" aka kitchen :) LOL

First up, is a layout featuring Meredith when she was about 3 years old playing at the playground:

I pulled out the Pink Paislee Sweetness Collection 6"x 6 paper pad, which is full of so many beautiful coordinating patterned papers packed all into one pad! I inked up various images from Parisian Anthology Clear Stamps and randomly stamped them about. For sketch inspiration, I played along with the fabulous sketch by Valerie Salmon over at the Pink Paislee Blog:

As you know, Claire designs soooo many stamps that coordinate perfectly with numerous Spellbinders die templates. In the photo below, you can see the pretty white embossed detail of the Very Vintage Labels No. 4 image. After inking it up and embossing, I used a S4-190 Labels Four die template to cut/emboss the label which was then layered with the darling sweetie-pie sentiment and motif from Sweethearts.

Another thing I love about using Spellbinders™ die templates is not only the ability to cut/emboss your images but the unique stenciling feature! BONUS! To create the butterfly embellishment in the photo below, I cut/embossed a butterfly using a die template from S3-146 Butterflies Two then while leaving the die cut in the template, I used a sponge dauber to apply yellow ink. What do you think of the beautiful scrolly detail in that beautiful butterfly?

The Pink Paislee Sweetness Collection 6"x 6 paper pad, is not only full of so many beautiful coordinating patterned papers but has 30 sheets all packed all into one pad! Using some scraps, I made this Valentine:

The gorgeous Cupid image is from Pink Paislee Cupid Impressions stamp set. Oh so Vintagey pretty! I made a lil' tag to display the BE MINE sentiment & motif using a S4-190 Labels Four die template which was then adhered to a pretty bow made from Buttercup Vintage style crinkle ribbon Courtesy of Kimberly at My Craft Spot.

Now that I had a BIG dose of crafty "me" time, maybe I should consider doing a dance with the vacuum cleaner :) Thanks so much for looking - hope you have an awesome day!
