Hi there! Here to share what I did with my day off from work! I made a card and layout for this month's
My Mind's Eye Challenge No.19 which includes a card sketch and a scrapped layout sketch. I love making cards and scrapping layouts so I played along with both.
First up is a card made based on the MME sketch where the theme was "miscellaneous". This card features stamps from both
My Mind's Eye Lost & Found/Market Street/Adore & Union Square/Perfect stamp sets all showcased on gorgeous patterned paper from the following collections:
My Mind's Eye Lost & Found/Madison Avenue/Girlfriends & Madison Avenue/Sisters.
I inked up the crown from
Lost & Found/Market Street/Adore with VersaMark ink, embossed with white embossing powder then used a
S4-116 Standard Circles SM to cut/emboss the image which I then layered on a doily made using a
S4-293 Lacey Circle die template. I added several pink pearls from
Want2Scrap which by the way will be releasing a special product called
"Nestabling" and coordinates perfectly with many Spellbinders die templates. Please feel free to check it out for yourself - click

Next is my LO based on a "Winter" theme featuring my sweet daughter Angie while on a ski/snowboarding trip to Aspen.
This gorgeous sketch by Anam Stubbington allows for a lot of room to fill up using many of my favorite products!
The PRINCESS sentiment is from
Lost & Found/Market Street/Adore stamp set. After inking up the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I used a
S5-023 Mega Ovals LG die template to cut/emboss the image then layered it on top of a polka dot label from
Waltzingmouse Holiday Labels No.14 which was cut/embossed using a
S4-290 Labels Fourteen die template.

The crown on your card is stunning and the layering with these SB dies is breathtaking. And that LO with your daughter just blew me away. The LO, colors well...everything. :)
