Friendship Flowers 54

Mona Pendleton | Wednesday, January 5, 2011 @ 2:55 AM | ,

Hi there! Hope you are all have a wonderful week so far! My hubby and I met my son for lunch at one of my favorite Thai restaurants - Malee's on Main. They serve up some tasty dishes EVERY TIME! I LOVE their food so much that I have even taken cooking classes there where they shared the recipe for their secret sauce! YUMMY :) Have you taken cooking classes at a restaurant before?

I am here to share this card I made featuring Taylored Expressions Friendship Blooms set:

I inked up the leafy branch image then followed by stamping several lil' red flowers. Using a combination of S4-249 Big Scalloped Circles LG & S4-250 Big Scalloped Circles SM, I made a three dimensional flower.
For sketch inspiration, I played along with this week's Sweet Sunday sketch challenge:

That's all I have for today. Thanks for looking - Be Sweet!

Stamps: Taylored Expressions Friendship Blooms

Hahaha... as I was scrolling down to comment, I saw someone say, "Mona, do you ever create anything ugly?" I had to laugh!!!

I LOVE the DP you used, and this card is just downright pretty.

You inspired me - I found the Melissa Frances bingo cards at my LSS today, and while I have no idea what I will do with them, I thought of your project, and splurged! :)

Perfectly fantastic Mona!!! Another stunning creation :)
I have not taken cooking lessons at a restaurant but it sounds wonderful. Perhaps it would encourage me to like cooking a bit more LOL!!! My hubby actually does most of the cooking in our household - if it were up to me, we'd likely have the microwave special most nights!!! Sad, but totally true!
