Snowflurries.. The Daily Dare 46

Mona Pendleton | Tuesday, January 4, 2011 @ 5:00 AM | ,

Hi there! It's the 11th day of Christmas over on the Daily Dare Blog and Claire, Owner of  Waltzingmouse Stamps is sponsoring the challenge today! Our challenge to you is to use SNOWFLAKES on your project. For COMPLETE challenge details, please visit the Daily Dare site - You could win a FREE Waltzingmouse Stamp set of your choice! For some awesome inspiration, please visit the Waltzingmouse Blog to see what several of the WMS DT have created using SNOWFLAKES!

One of my goals for 2011 is to create more layouts so I did just that! :) I printed a photo of my step daughter learning to ski in Aspen 2003:
Claire has soooo many stamp sets that contain a flake or two! I inked up various snowflakes from Seasons of Love - Tags, Sewing Box Christmas and Little Box Labels with VersaMark ink and embossed each and every one of them!

Up close, you can really see all the gorgeous detail of each snowflake:
I inked up the sentiment let it Snow from Compliments of the Season then using a Petite Oval Small die template to cut/emboss the image which was then layered with another oval. The beautiful pink  ornate label is from Holiday Labels No. 14 which was cut/embossed using a S4-290 Labels Fourteen die template.

I hope you are inspired to ink up your snowflakes & stamp a Winter Wonderland! :) Thanks so much for looking! Be Sweet :)

Supplies:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Seasons of Love - Tags, Victorian Alphabet, Holiday Labels No. 14, Sewing Box Christmas, Compliments of the Season, Little Box Labels
Die Templates & Machine: Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® LF-114 Grand Circles, LF-124 Grand Scalloped Circles, S4-290 Labels Fourteen, S4-138 Petite Ovals LG, GC-001 Grand Calibur
