Pretty In Pink & Green...CR84FN3 53

Mona Pendleton | Saturday, November 6, 2010 @ 11:55 PM | , ,

*** I have TWO posts today - I will be back at 2:00 PM Eastern waltzing along with Claire and the Waltzingmouse DT for the November Waltzingmouse Blog Waltz***

Hi There! I am happy to share with you that there were 30 awesome entries for the CR84FN2 challenge! Thanks to all who played along and to all of you who left sweet comments :) The randomly selected participant for the CR84FN4 Guest Designer is:
Sheri H, I would be honored if you would join along as my Guest for next week's challenge. Please email me by Monday, November 8th 9 PM Eastern so I can get the details to you!
The gorgeous photos displayed in the graphic are courtesy of Leslie from a creative MINT.
If you have never visited her site, please be sure to head on over there and see what you have been missing!

I would like to introduce you to this week's Guest Designer:
Laurel's awesome artwork can be found on her blog: Paper Crafts by Laurel. For some awesome inspiration, Laurel created the following two sweet cards: Don't you love the beautiful shimmery butterfly fluttering about?:
and this one featuring this darling teddy bear:
Thank you so much for joining along with me for this week's challenge :) I hope you all head on over to visit Laurel (click HERE) to see complete details and leave her some love :)

Here's my take:
I decorated a paper mache' house featuring some of Claire's, Waltzingmouse Stamps that will be released today at 2:00 PM Eastern. To create the background paper, I first inked up the Twas the Night Before Christmas image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamped then followed by randomly stamping various sized Poinsettias and leafs from Big Blooms Poinsettias. The window, wreath and sentiment images are all included in the Twas the Night Before Christmas set. Claire has an amazing  tutorial on her blog on how to create "wee little windows". You may find this tutorial extremely helpful.
I was inspired to make a door using various Spellbinders™ rectangular die templates by Spellbinders Blog Author: Beth Pingry. I went back to take a peek at Beth's card and it was removed for publication! Yeah Beth!!! Either way, Beth was my source of inspiration.
The beautiful ornate label image is from Very Vintage Labels No. 2 and the sentiment and motif are from Twas the Night Before Christmas. I finished off the tag with a homespun Poinsettia embellishment made using a S4-219 Nested Poinsettias die template.

Thanks so much for looking! I hope you are able to play along :)

Now for the CR84FN Challenge details:

I would like to invite ONE randomly selected participant as the next challenge's Guest Designer :) I would like to keep things on an even playing ground so in order to do so, all you need to do is follow a few simple guidelines:

*Please display the CR84FN graphic with your post if you have a blog. Leslie graciously offers her photos as inspiration and I would like to give her proper recognition. My dear hubby Scott takes the time to create the graphic. Seeing the graphic makes it much easier to locate your entry on your blog.

*Please do not combine the CR84FN with any other COLOR challenges.

*You are more than welcome to submit as many creations as you like however, the number associated with your first entry will be the number considered in the random generator.

Once you have your project photographed and uploaded to your blog or on-line gallery, please link the URL to your entry on this post using Inklinkz. If you use an on-line gallery, please be sure to use CR84FN4 as the keyword and if you have a blog, please display the graphic so I can easily find your entry. I hope you come join along and Create For Fun!

Challenge runs through Saturday, November 13th 9:00 PM Eastern.

***Hope to see you TODAY at 2:00 PM Eastern for the Waltzingmouse DT Blog Waltz!
