Pretty Purple Hues...CR84FN4 60

Mona Pendleton | Saturday, November 13, 2010 @ 10:00 PM | , ,

Hi There! Here today with a new Color Challenge. Thanks to all who played along with last week's challenge - so many fabulous entries :) The randomly selected participant for the CR84FN4 Guest Designer is:
Pauline, I would be honored if you would join along as my Guest for next week's challenge :)
The gorgeous photos displayed in the graphic are courtesy of Leslie from a creative MINT.
If you have never visited her site, please be sure to head on over there and see what you have been missing!

I would like to introduce you to this week's Guest Designer:
Sheri's amazing creations can be found on her blog: My Sheri Cards.
Sheri created a beautiful Happy Birthday card and personalized an envelope for her BFF's Mother's Birthday using this week's colors. I love the layered framed sentiment and the rhinestone flourish.
Here's a peek of the inside:
and here is the lovely personalized, embossed envelope:
Thank you so much for joining along with me for this week's challenge :) I hope you all head on over to visit Sheri (click HERE) to see complete details and leave her some love :)

Here's my take:
I used the beautiful S4-297 Nested Crowns die templates as my focal point. This is one of my favorite templates that I don't show enough love. The S4-297 Nested Crowns set contains 3 various sized die templates which can easily be used alone or combined like I did here for this card. I created a frame by nesting the medium size die in the largest size die, secured with a lil' piece of tape, cut/embossed then popped the frame up with a few foam squares. Wish I would have taken a photo to share for a visual - for future reference, would you be interested in seeing the process?

Up close, you can see the decorative embossed detail on the crown:
Thanks so much for looking! I hope you are able to play along :)

Now for the CR84FN Challenge details:

I would like to invite ONE randomly selected participant as the next challenge's Guest Designer :) I would like to keep things on an even playing ground so in order to do so, all you need to do is follow a few simple guidelines:

*Please display the CR84FN graphic with your post if you have a blog. Leslie graciously offers her photos as inspiration and I would like to give her proper recognition. My dear hubby Scott takes the time to create the graphic. Seeing the graphic makes it much easier to locate your entry on your blog.

*Please do not combine the CR84FN with any other COLOR challenges.

*Work must be original.

*You are more than welcome to submit as many creations as you like however, the number associated with your first entry will be the number considered in the random generator.

Once you have your project photographed and uploaded to your blog or on-line gallery, please link the URL to your entry on this post using Inklinkz. If you use an on-line gallery, please be sure to use CR84FN4 as the keyword and if you have a blog, please display the graphic so I can easily find your entry. I hope you come join along and Create For Fun!

Challenge runs through Saturday, November 20th, 9:00 PM Eastern.
