Hi! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend! The weather was beautiful here so I hiked my favorite trail: Telegraph Pass on South Mountain taking in all the natural desert beauty. I have an art journal page to share that I finished this morning that was inspired by strokes and techniques I learned from Nancy Medina's video "Pinkalicious Peonies". I put together this vase and flower arrangement for my own personal inspiration in my studio:

It's interesting to watch you develop skills in the Art of painting and it sounds like you have lots of places to hone your talents. I'm not sure when you find time to do all you do, with hiking and work, as well as all your creativity. Lovely piece :D

I really love peonies - they're such voluptuous flowers. I have some in my front yard, and it's such a treat to see them every spring. Your painting is wonderful, Mona. You really captured some of that voluptuous beauty.
