Stamp out 2013 37

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, December 15, 2013 @ 10:01 PM |

Hi there! I hope you had a terrific weekend!  It's Monday so that means it's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This will be the last challenge of 2013 BUT we will continue to share projects on the blog for inspiration! This week is really simple ~ use a stamp to create your project!

I took this opportunity to create a Christmas card and tag featuring the fun and versatile Snowflake Blueprint from the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection Christmas Blueprint stamp set.
I stamped the snowflake using Tea Dye Distress Ink on a Gesso painted tag which was then covered using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I love this stamp because no matter what ink you use, the image always looks fabulous!
Next up is a tag featuring the fun Snowflake Blueprint from the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection Christmas Blueprint stamp set showcased using the chalkboard technique:
I topped both snowflakes off with pretty Fanciful Buttons:

Mona...your Christmas card and tag are so pretty! Love the chalkboard effect of the snowflake blueprint on the tag. Isn't if funny that the same stamp can look so different, depending on your technique? Love it! <3 Candy
