April Waltzingmouse S.O.A.P. Day #2 57

Mona Pendleton | Saturday, April 2, 2011 @ 12:00 AM | , ,

Hi there! Here today with the April Waltzingmouse S.O.A.P. Day #2 share! In case you missed my post from yesterday, you may remember that Claire, Owner/Designer of Waltzingmouse Stamps announced that she will be releasing new sets every other month which we will be referring to as S.O.A.P. ~ Stamps Of Approval Parade. Well, since April is an “off” month Claire and many of the DT members will be sharing projects for the next three days reviewing last month’s release sets, as well as a special treat for you on the 4th day :)

Today, I am sharing an altered piece of wall art that I made for my own home featuring stamps from Bitty Banners and Sewing Box - Hugs (previous released):
I started with an inexpensive picture frame ($2.50) that I purchased from the craft store. I removed the trim that was on it and painted the frame white, adding a little distressing ink, cut to size a piece of gorgeous patterned paper from the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden Collection, adhered in place then added a shimmery glittered banner made using Bitty Banners.

To make the banner, I first used a Nested Lacey Pennants die template to cut each pennant, stamped an image from Bitty Banners then adhered some sweet shimmery Martha Stewart glitter to each:
That's all I have to share today ~ hope to see you tomorrow :) Thanks so much for looking and to see  more amazing inspiration, please be sure to visit Claire and the rest of the Waltzingmouse DT members listed below:
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse Bitty Banners, Sewing Box - Hugs
Die Templates & Machine: Spellbinders™Shapeabilities® S5-029 Nested Lacey Pennants, S4-324 Ribbon Banners, GC-001 Grand Calibur
Patterned Paper: Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden Collection
