Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! It's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Suzanne is in the mood for flowers so it got May thinking about all of the really great botanical patterns from Tim Holtz, butterflies floating around the warm spring sunshine and flowers just waiting to bloom. I was inspired to create a wall hanging feature a flower garden scene.

Living in the desert heat in Arizona, I don't have much of a flower garden but I sure had one in my mind that I couldn't wait to put in art form. I die cut a piece of Grungeboard using the Vintage Cabinet Card die, applied a layer of Gesso, allowed to dry then stamped and heat embossed the beautiful botanical image from Fairytale Frenzy. 

To make the embossed image pop, I applied various Distress Inks. 

A flower garden wouldn't be complete without a white fence so I used the Lattice die to cut a piece of Grungeboard which I applied Picket Fence Distress Paint as well as a coat of Rock Candy. 

My imagination went running wild with the Botanical Bliss theme which inspired me to add a trio of die blooms that were made using the Tattered Pinecone die.
