Love 44

Mona Pendleton | Sunday, August 11, 2013 @ 9:01 PM | , , ,

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! It's Monday so it's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge on the Simon Says Monday Challenge blog! Remember that we changed name a couple of weeks ago, from Simon Says Stamp & Show, but everything else still remains the same. This week's theme is all about die cuts and if you have visited me before, you are well aware I can't get enough dies! :)
I took advantage of the opportunity to transform a canvas into a clock wreath full of die cut peonies, roses and bitty blossoms

To prepare the background for embellishing, I adhered strips of French Industrial paper and Symphony tissue tape onto the canvas, randomly applied Gesso then spritzed on Cranberry Color Wash.
I also added a sweet resin cupid and Adage ticket.

Mona...such a lovely shabby chic burlap canvas. I love white washed die cut weathered clock and flowers on top of the pop of color spray you've added to the center. Those flowers are so dimensional and absolutely gorgeous! The resin angel nestled in the center of all of those gorgeous roses looks right at home. :) Such a sweet piece. <3 Candy
