Hi there! Hope you are all having a great weekend! I've been having fun playing with various sprays, inks, paints and texture mediums. Today I have a layout to share featuring a few photos of Meredith that were taken last Spring while on a trip to the San Diego Zoo.
To create this layout, I first made the main background using acrylic paints and the Gelli Arts printing plate. Prior to stitching to the plain piece of cardstock, I stamped and heat embossed the checkerboard image from Distressed Background Basics so it would peek out from under the torn edge.
I added texture and design in random places using the Rose Builder stencil and molding paste:
I couldn't help but use another clock from Timeless ~ this set is bar far my favorite stamp set of mine to date ;) I think it is so versatile like a flower or butterfly and may be used on ANY themed project and just adds that little extra something.
I also stamped and heat embossed the checkerboard image on the fishtail strips and randomly stamped the chicken wire image from Distressed Background Basics. The photos of Meredith were die cut using the awesome Die-namics Pierced Square STAX dies which were then layered on Kraft die cuts made using the fun Die-namics Mini Album Torn Notebook STAX dies and the edges were inked using Sweet Tooth ink:For the title, I used one of the sweet sentiments from Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn:
