Hi there! Hope you are all having a great weekend so far! Not much going on around my house, just a lot of exercising and stamping all weekend! What more could an addicted workout / crafty kind of girl want? :) If you have some stamping time, perhaps you would like to play along with this week's
Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge? My Wedding Anniversary is right around the corner, so I thought I would use this week's fab sketch to make a card for my sweet hubby Scott :)
Have to get quite inky to play along with this one! I created my own background paper by first stamping the larger bloom from
Big Blooms - Chrysanthemums using SU Groovy Guava ink followed by stamping the leaf images from
Faux Fun Circles using SU River Rock ink, then finished it off by stamping the smaller bloom from
Big Blooms - Chrysanthemums.
Claire has soooo many fabulous labels that can easily "work" with this sketch, it was difficult to choose which one I wanted to showcase! I decided on the gorgeous polka dot label from
Very Vintage Labels No. 10. I stamped the image using SU Summer Sun ink then using a
Labels 10 die template to cut/emboss the image. Lastly, I stamped the pretty Happy Anniversary sentiment from
Say it with Style within the label.
