Sabrina a VERY Happy 8th Birthday today! Sabrina is the precious daughter of my dear friend
Stephanie Kraft. Although Sabrina and I have not me IRL yet, I have chatted with her on the phone so I feel like we know each other already :) This card made it's way to the Post Office immediately after work on Thursday so hopefully Sabrina will receive it today, right on time for her big day :)
Speaking of birthdays, this week is FULL of birthday celebrations for me. Today my dear hubby, Scott and I will be entertaining 15 - 20 teenagers while celebrating my sweet step-daughter, Meredith's 14th birthday (which is really on the 19th)! YIKES!!! I must find those ear plugs before 1pm! :) LOL
Another birthday that I will be celebrating is the 2nd birthday of Waltzingmouse Stamps which is Saturday, May 21st ;0! Currently,

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge. This sketch, designed by Waltzingmouse Sketch Maker DT member, Edna Morrisedie was the perfect sketch for Sabrina's birthday card!
Stephanie told me Sabrina loves to color her world with bright, vibrant colors ~ which I happen to have very little of so I stamped my own! Using various colored inks, I stamped the cupcake image from
Frame-It to create the background patterned paper and to create the stamped scalloped border, I inked up the reverse polka dot image from
Gingham & Co. using both SU Only Orange and PTI Raspberry Fizz inks. The darling birthday sentiment is from
Teeny Trees.

Just scrumptious Mona! Love the embossing folder treatment. Seriously cool. I must admit to being a bit of a chicken when it comes to inking up my EFs. I have seen my stamps after most sessions and that ain't pretty, so I can't imagine being tidy with my EFs. I'm such a grub. Love the pears. I think the crafting world needs more pears...especially sugery sweet ones like yours. Wonderful card!
