Hi there! I've been playing around in my art journal again and this is what I came up with:
I'm having fun practicing different techniques and products in hopes of overcoming the fear of attacking a BIG canvas! This page was inspired by a painting I found here:
Abstract painting is quite challenging for me but I'm enjoying the process:

For theme inspiration, I joined along with the Mixed Media Place Creative Challenge where the challenge is to create a project based on "Today is the day..."
I'm also joining along with the Monthly Mixed Media Challenge where the challenge is all about texture:

Mona - so very gorgeous! You truly are expanding your art and it's a wonderful process to follow. I love abstract - but I can't seem to free up that vein to work with abstract. I am going to blame it on being so regimented all my life by being taught by nuns - all through grade school, all through high school. LOL - just kidding. It's not the fault of the sweet nuns - they get such a bad reviews - my education was awesome with the wonderful nuns. However, as yet, that avenue hasn't opened up for me - but - maybe someday!
