Hi there! Today I have a couple of layouts to share ~ one made by Angie and one made by me. Prior to the end of my 13arts DT term, Ayeeda, the Owner/Designer of the 13arts product line, sent me a variety of beautiful supplies from her latest "Fly Away" collection. We put some of those supplies to good use and joined along with the latest challenge 13arts which is to create a layout based on the sketch below, use two mediums and incorporate at least one butterfly:
She added texture to the background using molding paste, splashes of color using both inks and paints then embellished with a variety of homemade flowers, 13arts twigs and die cut butterflies:
She framed one of the sentiments from the Fly Away collection as her title:
Next up is my take on the challenge featuring a photo of my sweet Gretchen that was taken while she was lounging around in the pool with me :)
I combined beautiful papers from the Fly Away and the All is Love collections. I embellished with lots of die cuts including home made flowers, doilies, foliage and butterflies:
I used molding paste and gesso to create texture and design to the background:
I used a sentiment from Fly Away for the title:
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ have a great day!

Angie combined papers from the Fly Away collection along with papers from the Faces of Spring collection:She added texture to the background using molding paste, splashes of color using both inks and paints then embellished with a variety of homemade flowers, 13arts twigs and die cut butterflies:
