Never Give Up... 49

Mona Pendleton | Thursday, July 10, 2014 @ 7:27 AM | , , , ,

Hi there! This weekend Scott, Angie, Meredith and I are visiting San Francisco touring a couple of colleges in hopes to help Meredith narrow down her selection for next Fall. It was great to get together with Jerry and April for dinner last night. We hadn't seen them since their wedding at the end of March. Before I left for our trip, I made a layout inspired by Prima's July Product Pick inspiration board:
I scrapped a photo of Angie:
In case you missed my previous post, Angie is ranked 3rd in the world in her biking sport and ranked in ESPN's Top 50 Female Action Athletes because she Never Gave Up:
To create this layout, I combined various Prima papers from the older Botanical collection along with a piece of paper from the latest Something Blue Collection. I framed the photo of Angie using various Spellbinders dies:
then surrounded her with a variety of Prima flowers, a resin butterfly and
a cute Prima resin birdhouse:
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with the Let's Get Sketchy sketch challenge:
Thanks so much for visiting ~ I hope you have a great weekend!
Be Sweet ;)

So.......I have struggled to keep up with my favorite blogs since before school let out but I think of you! This is gorgeous!!! Wow, somehow I have missed a LOT! I didn't realize that your daughter, Angie was an athlete!!! That's an amazing action photo and the one in the layout is so sweet!

I will be scrolling your blog next, because I have been wondering for months if your son got married yet and here I see that it was back in MARCH!!! Either I am having one of those moments and I just can't remember reading about the wedding or I totally missed the posts!

Your layout is beautiful and I know you are popping with pride over the accomplishments of your children! I hope you have a great weekend in San Francisco!
