happy birthday...MFT July Teasers Day 5 50

Mona Pendleton | Saturday, July 6, 2013 @ 9:00 PM | , , ,

Hi there! Welcome to Day 5 of the MFT July teasers! The new products will be available on Tuesday, July 9th at 10 PM Eastern in the MFT Boutique. Be sure to hop over to the MFT Blog for a list of today's participating designers along with the amazing prize info!

***As part of MFT's 7th birthday bash, the following three products included in the July release will be available exclusively through the
MFT BoutiqueParty Balloons stamp setParty Balloons Die-namics, and Happy Birthday Die-namics.

Today I have a layout to share featuring a photo of my great niece, Madison who recently celebrated her 11th birthday. I stepped outside my comfort zone and opted for a fun bolder and brighter color palette to play with!
Next to Madison is a fun die cut party hat that was made using the Die-namics Jumbo Party Hat die which displays front and center the number 11 that was made using Die-namics Big Numbers.
For the title, I die cut the words happy birthday using dies from Die-namics Happy Birthday set and stenciled a scalloped design around the large hand cut circle using MPD Concentric Circles stencil along with Sour Apple ink.
I used a couple of dies from the Die-namics Blueprints 5 set: the fancy cut borders peeking out from under the cluster of flowers and the Blu Raspberry cardstock layered flowers.
For sketch inspiration, I joined along with sketchabilities:
Many thanks for visiting today ~ I hope you liked my layout!
Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has created. You'll also read about some HUGE prizes being given away this week during Teaser Time that you won't want to miss! I'll be back tomorrow with more to share for Day 6!

Be Sweet ;)

You did a great job with this layout I think, considering it's a little out of your usual style with the bright bold feel. But your gorgeous layered flowers make it still 'you', along with the mixed media touch of stencilling ;)
