ADORE(able) ...JUGS36 39

Mona Pendleton | Friday, June 4, 2010 @ 8:57 PM | ,

Hi Everyone! I would first like to introduce you all to the TWO newest Just Us Girls DT members in no particular order: Kathryn Berthiaume & Andrea Matthews :) You may already recognize both of these girls work, as they have both been long-time players with Just Us Girls. Please take a moment to give them a warm welcome :) This week, Lisa is our lovely Hostess & has challenged us with a fun sketch. Melanie, Owner/Designer of *wink *wink ink is sponsoring this week's challenge & she has not only provided each of the JUGS DT members with one of her wonderful digital images to create with but, she is offering a generous give-away to one lucky participant. I chose the adore(able) *wink *wink ink Button Bear digi image to feature on my wall hanging ;)

I "flipped" the sketch so a lot of the background DP would still remain visible.

For color inspiration, I used the colors from this week's challenge at The Play Date Cafe ;)

I sized & printed this cute lil' bear image, colored him by using my Copic airbrush & compressor, embossed, then carefully "cut him out". I paper pieced the legs & cut a slit between the paws so he could hold a lil' flower embellishment :) Thanks for looking! Be Sweet :)

For all the details, please visit the Just Us Girls challenge site & be sure to visit ALL the DT girls & Rachael. Once you have your project photographed, be sure to go to Just Us Girls and post a direct link to your project on our site. If you upload to on online gallery, please be sure to label your project as JUGS36.

Deadline to be considered for the weekly "Chic of the Week" will be 9:00 PM EST on Thursday, June 10th. Our Inlinkz tool will also close at that time. Our top pick "Chic of the Week" will be announced on Friday morning following the deadline.
