Hi there! Hope you are having a great week so far! After seeing Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of November tutorial, I wanted to give his chalk art technique a try and play along. I don't have all the supplies that he demonstrates with so I had to improvise along the way!
I stamped the cute snowman from Tim's Christmas Blueprint stamp set using VersaMark ink on a die cut tag made using Tim's Sizzix tag die, then I embossed using Ranger white embossing powder followed with a coat of white chalk. I added a sentiment from Tim's Simple Sayings stamp set. I don't have the coordinating die so I trimmed around the label the old fashioned way using a pair of sharp scissors.
I stamped his hat and scarf, colored with Copic markers, and trimmed around the edges the by hand using a pair of sharp scissors since I don't own the coordinating die for that stamp either.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day / evening.I'll be back Tuesday, November 5th at 10:00 pm to kick off the MFT November Teasers! Hope to see you then!
Be Sweet ;)
