Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! It's Monday so that means it's time for an all new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week's challenge is a simple one - use ink!
This week, I was inspired to create a tag focusing on creating a heat embossed resist background using Versamark Ink.
Versamark Ink was essential for creating the heart stamped background. I wanted the fun hearts to be the focal point on the tag and really "pop" so I stamped them using Versamark Ink, sprinkled on embossing powder then heat set. This created a fabulous background which I could then build and layer upon.
Now my tag was ready for more layers! I randomly applied various distress stains and gesso. Once dry, I randomly stamped a font / numeric image from Attic Treasures:
