Hi there! Before I get to my crafty post, I must mention the AMAZING Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple. Such very sad news for the world to have lost such a brilliant man, my dear hubby Scott was one of his biggest fans as he watched that company grow since 1984. My heart thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and children during these difficult times. Steve surely has touched the lives of millions around the world.
I wanted to take a moment to thank
CARDS Magazine for publishing my card shown below in the September issue! I am so thrilled and honored when one of my little hand made cards get picked :) For me, it's like winning the lottery in the paper crafting world! I made this rather CAS card using pretty patterned papers and ephemera from the
Pink Paislee Vintage Vogue Collection.
Not a whole lot of stamping or die cutting going on here. The Eiffel Tower and fancy label were included in the ephermera pack. All I had to do was stamp the sentiment from
Waltzingmouse Seasons of Love - Tags and adhere a little heart die cut that was made using a
Spellbinders Heart Punch Template for the Presto Punch.

Wonderfully stated Mona, in regards to Steve Jobs.. I grew up in Silicon Valley, literally in Steve Jobs back yard. I remember when Apple opened it'd doors and I used to drive by their offices on a daily basis.. Have always had a Tremendous respect for his ethics and incredible Vision..
