Hi There! Here today for the Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps August Blog Waltz.
This month Claire challenged us all to create a project based on a Vintage-Shabby Chic theme (as you probably have guessed this happens to be my fave :) For complete Waltz details please visit the The Play Room. Here is my Vintage-Shabby Chic card full of FRUIT:
Lovin' the new Spellbinders™ S4-297 Nested Crowns die templates, I made a crown frame to use as the focal point. Inside the crown frame, I stamped the arrow image from the Sweethearts set, adhered a decorative sanded foil heart made from a S4-296 Nested Hearts die template then popped a lil' Melissa Frances keyhole embellishment on top.
set followed with stamping the "with love" sentiment from the Victorian Frippery set then, using a S4-190 Labels Four die template, I cut/embossed the tag.
That's all I have for today - off to waltz! Can't wait to see what you may have created for the Waltz :)

I love the colors you have on this card and that crochetted flower and ribbon especially! This should be in or on a magazine but it really reminds me of a Melissa Frances catalog! Vintage elegance and perfection all rolled up in one card! Pretty neat stuff, Mona!

Yeah, Mona, I'm with Lisa H. totally! Thanks a lot as now I NEED that crown die too & all of Claire's stamps and . . . and . . . and . . . a job! Sigh! I've recently developed a total fondness for shabby chic and vintage, so I need more vintagey items now too. I'm not sure my hubby can afford to keep me in all my "needs"!!!
