Merci...Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz 70

Hi Everyone!

First a FRIENDLY REMEMBER: Just in case you were not aware that The Spellbinders Paper Arts Blog Frenzy Contest is currently in full swing as of July 13th! There are MANY prizes that will be given away so please be sure to visit the Spellbinders Blog (click HERE) for complete details. Good Luck!!!!

Here today waltzing along with the July Friends Of Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz.
This month, Claire challenged all of her stamping friends to create a project of any type based on the theme: colors of summer...using blue & green (any shade our little hearts desire! :) I combined 2 Waltzingmouse Stamp sets to play with: Afternoon Tea Sentiments and Victorian Frippery & this is what I came up with:The decorative lace image & the Merci sentiment are both from the Victorian Frippery set & the beautiful cluster of flowers is from the Afternoon Tea Sentiments set. Close up you can see how I paper pieced an additional layer to the upper-most flower to add a lil' dimension. After stamping & coloring the image, I used a Spellbinders™ Nestabilites® S4-110 Classic Ovals LG die template to cut/emboss the image, then layered it on top of a label made using a Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® S4-246 Labels Eleven die template. Topped it off with a few pearls :)

Don't these Copic markers look so pretty together? They remind me of the Dreamy Caribbean Waters - I can almost hear the waves crashing!!!

That's it for me today - off waltzing I will go! Thanks so much for looking! Have a great weekend!

REMEMBER: I will be sharing what I created for the Spellbinders™ Blog Frenzy on Monday, July 19th - Hope you stop by & I sure hope you are playing along because someone has to win! Also, if you are interested in winning some goodies from SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L click HERE! Be Sweet!
