Waltzingmouse Stamps August Blog Waltz 102

Mona Pendleton | Tuesday, July 27, 2010 @ 11:00 AM | ,

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Waltzingmouse Stamps August Release Blog Waltz! I hope you have been inspired with all the Spooky treats that Claire, myself & the Waltzingmouse DT girls have been sharing over the past 3 days showcasing the Waltzingmouse Stamps: Wanda's Pantry & Midnight Feast sets?! BOTH of these sets are available TODAY at the Waltzingmouse Stamps store! If you arrived here from Lynn's site, then you are right where you should be! If not, please hop back over to Claire's site where the celebration began!

A few minor details: As with all of Waltzingmouse Stamps Design Team Blog Waltzes, you have the opportunity to win a stamp set of your choice. Claire will choose from among all the comments left on all the Design Team blogs one lucky winner of the stamp set of their choice. The other winner will be chosen from comments left on her blog. You need not comment on all the Design Team’s blogs to win, but the more you comment, the better your odds. You have until 11:59 pm EASTERN TIME on Thursday, July 29th to leave your comments. The winners will be announced on the WMS blog on Friday, July 30th. Good Luck!

I shabbied up an empty plastic pail & filled it with some yummy white chocolate covered mini pretzels! So many of Claire's stamps have such an elegant Vintage vibe to them including the Wanda's Pantry & Midnight Feast sets - not your ordinary Halloween stamps! Notice the skull & crossbones embellishment on the pretzel bag tag? I made that using a die template from the Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® S4-279 Graveyard Scenes and Shapes set. TODAY at CHA the entire NEW release will be revealed so be sure to visit the Spellbinders Paper Arts blog to catch all the exciting news!!! I showcased the From my Kitchen image & a mini Wanda image right smack in the center of the pail! After inking up & stamping both of these images, using a S4-112 Classic Ovals SM die template, I cut/embossed them then layered on top of a piece of cs cut using a S4-110 Classic Ovals LG die template. The fancy label was stamped with an image from the Very Vintage Labels No. 2 that coordinates with a S4-162 Labels Two die template - making an elegant label! In the photo below, you can get an up close & personal view of the detailed Gothic style door stamp from the Midnight Feast set. After heat embossing with fine silver embossing powder, I cut it out & embellished with a lil' flower embellie made using S4-109 Flower Creations Three die templates.

The To: & From: stamp is the perfect size for the oval tag cut from the S4-081 Tags Five die template.

To continue with the Waltz, please visit Lisa's blog to see what she has to share with you!

Thanks for looking! I hope to be back later today to share some photos from CHA :) Be Sweet!

You make Halloween elegant and feminine. I would compare your style to the trick-or-treater dressed as a ballerina rather than a mummy with disgusting goop oozing from the bandages. Have fun at CHA with your hubbie.
